Jordin Sparks defended her response to Russell Brand's purity ring comments about the Jonas Brothers during the Sunday night VMAs.
"It's something I feel strongly about, but I wish I worded it differently," the American Idol said. "That somebody who doesn't wear a promise ring isn't necessarily a slut, but I can't take it back now." Jordin continued, "It was a split-second thing, and it came out kind of wrong." She also said that she doesn't regret making the comment and has nothing against Russell Brand.
What do you guys think? Was Jordin's comment out of line?

Both me and my sister don't have purity rings but we all want to wait till marriage . Jordin wasn't out of line. Russell's jokes were hurtful not only to the Jonas Brothers but every single person out there who wears a purity ring. He was a horrible host.
