This morning, Taylor Swift appeared on Good Morning America to announce the nominations for the Country Music Awards, airing September 17. Taylor was psyched to discover that she's up for "Top Female Vocalist" against Alison Krauss, Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood and Martina McBride. "I can't believe it," Taylor said, upon hearing the news. We're keeping our fingers for the country cutie!
And if you haven't heard, Taylor will be the J-14 advice columnist for our December issue! How cool is that?

ok.. I love taylor swift's music. she seriously writes AMAZING songs. But sorry.. vocally, it's just not there. If she wins the CMA award its really not fair to Carrie Underwood. Think of it this way. If both Carrie and Taylor tried out for American Idol, Taylor would NOT have won. sry. but thats just my opinion.
