Demi and Selena have been bonded since their Barney days back in 1992. In magazines, Demi is constantly referred to as "Selena's best friend," and Selena is always giving her BFF props during interviews. This summer, Demi and Selena will be inseparable--they are both starring in the DCOM Princess Protection Program and plan to tour together once Sel drops her first album. But then again, Demi is currently hard at work on he own Disney series, Sonny With A Chance.

I have never thought of Demi being in Selena's quote Shadow unquote. Nothing against Selena but Demi has always been my favorite out of the two. I had basically quit watching Disney channel until Camp Rock came on and then I noticed Wizards of Waverly place. But whatever. Demi's new cd is pretty awesome, and I can't wait to see her new show!!

I really love Demi and have you ever thought of it the other way around? Selena being attached to Demi? But they are both really different people and just because they are BFFs doesnt mean Demi is like Selenas pet, she is her own person and she does a lot of things without Selena. Ummmmm, Demi is working on a show called Welcome to Mollywood, which is on Disney. Never heard of Sonny with a chance. But I think that Demi is more than a sidekick, i mean, she has a lot of fame now. Camp Rock, Her new CD, PPP, and she toured with JB on their Burnin up tour. Also, she is working on her show. Selena is also very famous too, and I am a big fan of them both. But I think that they both get their props when they deserve.

I think the real best friends are with you since the beginning of ur life even when someone becomes famous..i think demi is shinning on her own way as well selena...the difference they known each other since they were nobodies.
Of course Demi will come out of Selena's shadow. She's as famous as her. So far she made a great movie that gave her fame. And her brand new cd is alright. She is famous.
i love both selena and demi but, i think they love each other as friends and they don't care about spotlight as much as they do being friends. but maybe one day they will be by themselves. demi will have the spotlight on her someday.

I really like them both the same, because they have different things that make me like them for different reasons. And I never even thought of Demi being Selenas sidekick. These people just want to start a rumor to make them get into a fight. But they have been BFFs since before they were famous, so I think being in the business together and being equally famous makes it easier to stay friends. And Selena would never even treat Demi like her sidekick.
