Camp Rocker Meaghan Jette Martin just signed on to the new ABC series adaptation of the 1999 movie 10 Things I Hate About You. The movie stars Julia Stiles and Health Ledger and is about two sisters who are total opposites. Similar to the movie, Meaghan will play the social butterfly opposite her strong-willed feminist sister played by Lindsay Shaw. The series is expected to air in 2009.

I don't think its a very good idea for a series. I LOVE the original and I think if they're going to remake it that should remake it as a made for TV movie plus they'll NEVER be able to pull it off without Heath Ledger.
