I can answer that Ty. Its kinda like this: I spend weekdays with my mom and stepdad, and on weekends Im with my dad and stepmom. It is kind of annoying. I want to be able to live with both of them, but it sometimes feels like I dont have a real home. I dont think that my stepdad likes me very much. He doesnt like that I get annoyed with his kids. It IS horrible. My stepmom is really nice, but I hate her. She tries to treat me like one of her real kids, and thats what I hate. She isnt my mom, so why act like it when I have a real mom? I really dont like either of my step parents. And when Im not with my stepdad Im with my stepmom. And another problem is that you are barely ever with your real siblings. My real siblings are really cool, but we can never be by ourselves because of step siblings.
Another bad thing is that you are never alone with your parents. When they first get re-married they are so in love and really focused on getting us to be a real family. But I dont really pretend like we are a real family anymore because we arent.
I am starting to sound really mean, but it is just really hard. Its not as bad as Im making it seem..........but I hate it still.
Wow Bailey that really sux! Dont worry, everything will work out :)! It will just take some time. Well, my parents are together, but my BFF went through the same thing.....so I know what to say to you now! LOL!

She's scared of him and won't let him come in her home. His dad won't do anything about it so pretty much my friend doesn't see his dad anymore. I feel bad for him. But we are totally with you on this. I've never gone through this but all I can advise about this is listen to Lexi. She should have her own television show like Dr. Phil. LOL!!! We'll call her,"Dr. Lexi" LOL!! (sorry I got off topic) but yeah we're here for you Bailey :)
Hi....you probs remember me as the person who was annoyed with you when Ty and Gossip Girl were having their "argument". Well Ty knows, and Im ready to let you know that Im not really that way. And Id really like to be friends and put all that drama in the past.
Bailey its ok about your parents. Mine are divorced too! Eventully it will seem normal to you. Lemme tell you something to show that you are not alone with this. A few years ago my dad realized that he was gay. Thats why my parents split. My dad and one of my teachers actually, got together. And every time I saw him, I hated him. He was the reason. I hated him. But now he actually isnt that bad. Hes ok. Id rather my parents be back together so my fam wasnt so complicated, but now I have kind of made friends with some of my stepsiblings.
You just need to think like what Lexi said. You focus on good and not bad. And Im ok with it now. I HATE that they arent together, but I like to look at it like an oppurtunity to have the friends that I have now. I have gotton to know some really cool people through them. But I understand what you mean. When I get in a fight with my step siblings or with my "stepdad" I go up to my room and cry. We both know what its like to remember what it was like when all this was never even considered. Like I said, I think positive, but sometimes postive doesnt get you very far. But what Ive learned is this: Even though postive thinking doesnt always get you very far, it gets you farther than negitive thinking ever will. Hope this helps!

Sorry I havent been on for a while. Christmas day was very crazy. And then today we were having a HUGE Christmas party at our house, all our cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, second and third cousins etc.

My family is very complicated Lexi, but here it goes: I have an older brother, a younger sister, an older sister, an older stepsister, two older stepbrothers, 1 younger half sister and 1 younger half brother.
I have 3 evil step-siblings. This might sound mean because they ARE nice, but in a way I want to hate them. If you know what I mean it wont really sound that bad. Its just cuz my parents got a divorce.......but I dont need to get into that!

They are always on at the same time, they are friends in real life. I think it may be just Amy impersonating again but I'm not sure. Yep, y'know it. I'm bored at the moment. LOL
I can answer that Ty. Its kinda like this: I spend weekdays with my mom and stepdad, and on weekends Im with my dad and stepmom. It is kind of annoying. I want to be able to live with both of them, but it sometimes feels like I dont have a real home. I dont think that my stepdad likes me very much. He doesnt like that I get annoyed with his kids. It IS horrible. My stepmom is really nice, but I hate her. She tries to treat me like one of her real kids, and thats what I hate. She isnt my mom, so why act like it when I have a real mom? I really dont like either of my step parents. And when Im not with my stepdad Im with my stepmom. And another problem is that you are barely ever with your real siblings. My real siblings are really cool, but we can never be by ourselves because of step siblings.
Another bad thing is that you are never alone with your parents. When they first get re-married they are so in love and really focused on getting us to be a real family. But I dont really pretend like we are a real family anymore because we arent.
I am starting to sound really mean, but it is just really hard. Its not as bad as Im making it seem..........but I hate it still.
And I hate covalent bonding. Like Gossip Girl, I am always messing up on that.

Wow Bailey.......that sounds really hard. Like Gossip Girl said, Im sure things will work out! It WILL get better, you just need to take time and realize what is going on around you. Really pay attention to each and everyone of your step family members. You might even find something you like about them! And if you do find something you like about them then focus on that one thing.....but I totally know what you are saying when you think that they wont replace parents. You didnt start to sound mean......its typical to think like that when things happen.

I guess I already told you this but yeah, his step-mom has nothing to do with him. He has lets say anger issues and he's a fairly muscular dude. She's scared of him and won't let him come in her home. His dad won't do anything about it so pretty much my friend doesn't see his dad anymore. I feel bad for him. But we are totally with you on this. I've never gone through this but all I can advise about this is listen to Lexi. She should have her own television show like Dr. Phil. LOL!!! Hi....you probs remember me as the person who was annoyed with you when Ty and Gossip Girl were having their "argument". Well Ty knows, and Im ready to let you know that Im not really that way. And Id really like to be friends and put all that drama in the past.
Bailey its ok about your parents. Mine are divorced too! Eventully it will seem normal to you. Lemme tell you something to show that you are not alone with this. A few years ago my dad realized that he was gay. Thats why my parents split. My dad and one of my teachers actually, got together. And every time I saw him, I hated him. He was the reason. I hated him. But now he actually isnt that bad. Hes ok. Id rather my parents be back together so my fam wasnt so complicated, but now I have kind of made friends with some of my stepsiblings.
You just need to think like what Lexi said. You focus on good and not bad. And Im ok with it now. I HATE that they arent together, but I like to look at it like an oppurtunity to have the friends that I have now. I have gotton to know some really cool people through them. But I understand what you mean. When I get in a fight with my step siblings or with my "stepdad" I go up to my room and cry. We both know what its like to remember what it was like when all this was never even considered. Like I said, I think positive, but sometimes postive doesnt get you very far. But what Ive learned is this: Even though postive thinking doesnt always get you very far, it gets you farther than negitive thinking ever will. Hope this helps!
