No! Personally neither of them should be in this movie. Even though i didnt read his book they shouldnt be in it. They arent good enough actresses to be in this. I mean they are good for children but not for the teenage viewers. People imagined for the first one to suck before the got to watch it but that was good. I think Brenda Song would be absolutely perfect for her part. At first I couldn't pinpoint who I would like. Now that there has been talk Brenda is exactly the actress. Even though she plays a ditzy heiress she has had roles before that have had an edge to them that she was able to bring. Unfortuantely I think that is what vanessa lacks. She has only had one real role and that has been to play a sweet innocent high school. I like Vanessa a lot but Brenda has more experience and looks the part. She was recently in Special delivery which required her character to have an edge, like Leah has in the books. She would bring a strong build to the movie and can pull it off to be real. She will make the movie way more realistic because the hardness Leah has because of her past will shin through.

i dont think either one would be good! leah is supposed to be dark skinned, native american and not girly at all. and plus shes really mean, because she feels out of place because shes the only girl werewolf in the quileute pack, and the wolf spirits were only supposed to enter boys. i dont think that either of the girls would look right trying to pull that off. and Leah is supposed to be big and buff, like jacob.

I think that even though Brenda is a better actress, in my opinion, Vanessa would be a better Leah if one of them was picked. She fits the role physically more. I honestly think that they should think about some other people, I'm not sure who but not them. But if they decide between these two, I'd have to say Brenda Song. Vanessa Hudgens is too, everywhere these days, she's getting boring to me, and Brenda Song is the kind of actress who doesn't seem to mind not being on every mag page or cover. She'd be a better fit for it. With Vanessa it'll just make her ego even bigger. Well i absolutely love twilight. I am currently reading eclipse. My friends and I are all reading all the books and we are majorly obsessed we had the best sleepover on November 21st when twilight came out and we even preodered our tickets b/c they were sold out we were screaming the whole way there and when we got there we had to wait two hours b/c we were so early. Edward is so so so Hot!!! Though i dont think Brenda nor Vanessa would be good as Leah Clearwater b/c i think both of them arent ready to play a huge part like that in an amazing movie. I think Taylor Lautner is a great person to play Jacob, but I really do not like Jacob in the books especially in New Moon. I am with Team Edward all the way. B/c Vampires are cooler. Honestly, I love Brenda Song and Vanessa Hudgens...but I really don't think Disney and The Twilight Saga should mix. They're two seperate phenomenons and should stay that way. Niether one fits the part...and they need to start keeping Disney actors/actresses out of all these movies, yeah they can be in some of them but in almost every movie I watch there's a Disney star in it and I'm kind of getting tired of it!! Give some other people a chance to be in a HUGE movie like Twilight!

Personally, I would have to agree with the people who are against both of them. Honestly, this is 'Twilight' not some Disney channel primere. It's big. You need big actors for this to seem more real to veiwers. If they had to choose one, I'd pick Brenda Song. Again this is only my opinion but HSM is for little girls. . . Twilight had a way better story line in the first one then all of the HSM movies combined. I mean, think about it! Let's bring something different to the screen that can actualy BE enjoyable to some pepole with common sense. So thats probably why I'm against Vanessa. Again, I know I don't want to hear the theme song to The Sweet Life when I'm watching New Moon or hear We're All In This Together in my head.. _rollseyes. So ya, Someone less. . . well Disney would probably be best. ;]

And in my eyes vanessa's not all that grate to me it seems like she doesnt care shes just in it for publisity. yes.....but rally like some would say nether one schould make it like others have said this isn't disney channle this ia acutually good.

i think brenda would be a better leah because she looks more indian then vanessa, and since mostly everyone in la push is indian she would fit in more. i hope they do use her because it would be nice to see an actress i'm familiar with, because i watch the suite life on deck and the reg. suite life all the time. some people might not agree with me because they think disney channel actresses shouldn't be in twilight but maybe they are in disney channel because they didn't have a choice, and they just wanted to be known. so i think vanessa and brenda could have a career outside of disney but overall, i think brenda should be in new moon playing leah.

i think brenda should play leah in new moon. i am a HUGE twilight saga fan and it would be awesome to see brenda as leah. for all those who say that brnda's too 'asian' to be leah you might want to look at vanessa. she doesnt look like an indian to me. plus this isn't about race ppl its about who would be a better leah clearwater. the stubborn werewolf chick. i think brenda's so much more down to earth while V has her head way up in the clouds. she was great in HSM but i dont think la push is really her scene.
