Selena Gomez is busy in Puerto Rico filming The Wizards Of Waverly Place Movie, but that doesn't stop her from doing some good! Sel recently joined DoSomething.org in helping feed stray puppies!
I'm honored to be the new ambassador for DoSomething.org! The last time I was in PR shooting Princess Protection Program we noticed all of these stray dogs and puppies. We ended up finding out that Puerto Rico has a 'dead dog beach' its sounds worse than it is but people actually kills dogs for fun here..This time around im teaming up with DoSomething.org and my mom, Brian, David, Jake, David D are all going to help out today along with some of my crew from set! We are spending the day feeding puppies, washing them and hanging out with them. After we spend the day with them we are sending these dogs to different places in the U.S the no-kill dog shelters so they can find a home.

"behind closed doors".. so i just think its stupid when
pple comment saying how horrible another person is

Ah, what a year it’s been. I love it here in Hollywood, where I can be super close to the stars and deliver the latest dish to you 24/7, through this web site, and also in BOP and Tiger Beat magazines. There are so many things that entertained me this year, so it was difficult to pick my Top 6 faves. So without further adieu, here they are:
#6 - Girl groups: Okay, let’s give a round of applause for Pussycat Dolls, Danity Kane, Cheetah Girls, and Aly & AJ. These girls not only danced, rocked, and sang their way to our hearts, but they also made great role models. You go, girls!
#5 - Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco: It was so hard to decide between these two bands, so I’m including both of them on my list. Pete Wentz or Brendon Urie? Come on, they’re both so hot!
#4 - Dylan and Cole Sprouse: These twin hotties are not only funny, they’re totally “Suite,” too! Every single episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody had me laughing all year! Their costars Ashley Tisdale and Brenda Song also rock.
#3 - Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man’s Chest: Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp made a huge splash this summer in this sequel. I already cannot wait for the third (and, perhaps, final) movie in the Pirates series.
#2 - Hannah Montana: Miley Cyrus is the coolest girl ever, and she does double duty in this super funny show. I totally want to be her BFF, but I also want to hang out with her sidekicks Emily Osment (as Lilly) and cutie Mitchel Musso (as Oliver).
#1 - High School Musical: Say it with me, girls…ZAC EFRON! Come on, admit it, you’ve seen this movie way more times than you can count, and you still love it. I know I do. The singing, the dancing, the super cute love story. It’s everything we could ever ask for, right? Nope, because we’re getting so much more in the sequel that comes next summer!
I think you’ll agree with most of my choices, but I’d still love to know what you think. Ah, what a year it’s been. I love it here in Hollywood, where I can be super close to the stars and deliver the latest dish to you 24/7, through this web site, and also in BOP and Tiger Beat magazines. There are so many things that entertained me this year, so it was difficult to pick my Top 6 faves. So without further adieu, here they are:
#6 - Girl groups: Okay, let’s give a round of applause for Pussycat Dolls, Danity Kane, Cheetah Girls, and Aly & AJ. These girls not only danced, rocked, and sang their way to our hearts, but they also made great role models. You go, girls!
#5 - Fall Out Boy and Panic! At the Disco: It was so hard to decide between these two bands, so I’m including both of them on my list. Pete Wentz or Brendon Urie? Come on, they’re both so hot!
#4 - Dylan and Cole Sprouse: These twin hotties are not only funny, they’re totally “Suite,” too! Every single episode of The Suite Life of Zack & Cody had me laughing all year! Their costars Ashley Tisdale and Brenda Song also rock.
#3 - Pirates of the Carribean - Dead Man’s Chest: Orlando Bloom and Johnny Depp made a huge splash this summer in this sequel. I already cannot wait for the third (and, perhaps, final) movie in the Pirates series.
#2 - Hannah Montana: Miley Cyrus is the coolest girl ever, and she does double duty in this super funny show. I totally want to be her BFF, but I also want to hang out with her sidekicks Emily Osment (as Lilly) and cutie Mitchel Musso (as Oliver).
#1 - High School Musical: Say it with me, girls…ZAC EFRON! Come on, admit it, you’ve seen this movie way more times than you can count, and you still love it. I know I do. The singing, the dancing, the super cute love story. It’s everything we could ever ask for, right? Nope, because we’re getting so much more in the sequel that comes next summer!
I think you’ll agree with most of my choices, but I’d still love to know what you think. Heyy that's so cool that Selena is doing this...alot of young people wish they had an influence on other people and i'm glad that Selena is choosing to set a good example for all the other people out there unlike some other teen stars who don't care what effect their actions will have on others (uh like miley for instance)! anyway keep up the good work Selena ur my # 1 role model we all love you and you and we'll always support you. any of them, and most of us never will..
and when everyone says "oh miley is so horrible"
blah blah, who knows, maybe she is a bad person
or role model, but we only know what the cameras and
reporters want us to know.. we dont see things
"behind closed doors".. so i just think its stupid when
pple comment saying how horrible another person is
when they really dont know them.. at all.

i think it is great that she is doing this but what about all the stay dogs and cats here in the U.S? my mom and i are members with the (usap)united states animal protection.and usap never gets this much atention we've gone all over the u.s to rescue dog's and cats and she helps once and she gets all this atention
how is this fair??????anyone know
p.s please help every dog and cat u can.
and get your dogs and cats spayed and nutered its only the right thing to do.it saves an dog or cats life when u do.be a hero not a murder!!!
