J-14 just got off the phone with The Secret Life of the American Teenager's star Shailene Woodely -- and she's just as excited as you about the season finale that aired last night on ABC Family. "I hadn't seen it before, so it was pretty interesting," she tells J-14. "I thought it turned out really good."
Of course, fans have been buzzing about it, and Shailene's been anxious to hear what they have to say. "I heard some reactions about how much they liked the emotion that Daren [Kagasoff] showed," Shai says. "I thought it was in his character, but it was cool to see him finally show it!"
And what's Shai up to now? "We're filming season 2 right now," she tells us. Of course it's totally different now that baby John is born. "We're working with real babies -- it's crazy! The babies have been great and they haven't been crying a lot -- they're very well-behaved babies!"

OMG. I am a big fan of Secret Life of an American Teenager. I got all my friends watching it. We compare thoughts and it is always the highlight of our Tuesdays. I am so glad Grace and Jack are back together. I think they are perfect. I am still wondering how Ricky got into Amy's room all of a sudden at the end of the season finale. Well i havent watched all the episodes secret life of an american teenager but, the few i have seen were pretty good and i have nothing against the show n i know they think that showing this show would prevent teens from getting pregnant i mean nothing really can stop that from happening it is the teens choice n i mean preaching abstinance what has that really done in our society some teenagers ignore it and others listen not considering i'm 18 and pregnant but, i am excited about it n i've got some friends who have said i wouldnt be a good mother because of my age and you know what age has really nothing to do with how good of a mom you will make. it will be hard but, every ones first kid is hard no matter how old. N i ignored what that girl said bc shes nothing but a drama starter that is not in my shoes so she really has no room to talk unless she has been in my position which she hasent and i mean i've got more the majority saying i'd make a terrific mom one person really isent anything .. but, one thing i have to say to young mothers out there n soon to be moms is have fun with it its going to be an exciting experience and you shouldnt feel ashamed it happens its scary but, you'll get through it .. n those of you that plan to wait i'm proud of you. we all make choices sum good n some bad but, life goes on.
OMG I LOVE THIS SHOW. ITS MY FAVORITE AND I NEVER MISS ONE EPISODE. I LOVE THE CHARACTERS AND THINK THAT THEY DO A REALLY GREAT JOB. i loved it!!!! i rlly liked how rikki was all sweet n i think he will be an amazing dad!!!!! the two things i didn't like was the music they used when they 1st showed john n i don't like the name john, idk y, it just doesn't suit that baby... i was thinking more like conner or something original!!!

OMG it was so good i cried when ashely and george got in the van and started driving away and then i saw them stop and beck up into the neighbor's driveway i was like WTF??? and then i stoped...the baby was so cute i think amy will be a great mom for john...i have nothing to look forward to on mondays now that secret life and john and kate + 8 seasons r over!!!!
I loved the finale!! I know some people don't like the show because of the whole pregnant 15 yr. old deal but I think it's realistic and it happens all the time! I loved it when she had baby John and they showed everyone holding him! Can't wait for season 2!

I love secret life i think it is a real look at how life would be is you had a baby at 15 or any age when you not married and still in high school! I have all my friend watching Secret life annd we are all ready for more but just wish been would go awayyyyyyyyyyy noboddy like him!!!!! i love the show secret life. i think ricky is soo cute and i think he is gonna be such a good daddy. I also think ben should just go away and leave amy and the baby alone hes not the dad so he should just leave the baby and amy alone. I also think the secret life is a real understanding of what life with a baby when you are a teen is like im 17 and i have a 3 month old son so i know how hard it to raise a baby and go to school and work so like i said this movie was a real inspiration.
OMG! What is up with everyone and hating Ben?! He is an amazing person. He was with Amy way before anyone knew she was prego. He stayed with her the whole time (well pretty much the whole time). If she didn't love Ben then she would dump him for Ricky. ricky basically just came into the picture and he is older than Amy and he is in love with Adrien. The only reason Amy and Ricky are together is because of John. I think he is cute and everything but he's not right for Amy. But, I think that both will make good dads. And Ben is not all up in Amy's personal life he just cares a lot about her just like any caring person would. He is a real man. So back off his case. You are just jealous! Keep up the goood work Ben. I love you! And I can't wait for the next season :)

omg! i watch it on monday and baby john is cute. my fav part was when ricky was holding the baby at the end. i been watching secret life for a very lont time. ever since it come on. i think they sould keep going on secret life. i want to see more on baby john. i think ricky is going to be a great dad.so is ben. ben been with amy when ge found out that she was pregnet. so all u haters out there that hating on ben. don't hate on him. i can't wait till the second season. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know that amy is going to make a great mother to her son. and ricky and ben as great and wonderful dads. keep up the good work u three!!!

And she knows I already know everything and have since I was seven. So I just watch it at my friend's house! But she could have named the baby something better than John. Like Connor. Or Ben Junior.
