For the first time in American Idol history, the "Judges' Save" was used... Matt Giraud received the least number of votes and should have been kicked off, but instead, the judges decided that he'd get to stay and have another week to prove himself.
The other contestants in the bottom three were Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai.

Completely wrong choice. There was nothing great about that Matt guy. We all know he's not gonna survive next week. And two people leave next time. What happens if something weird happens and Allison or Danny leaves??? VOTE VOTE VOTE!!!!!!! LOL
They mad the worst choice ever. what if next week in some suprise Alison or Danny get voted off they are not going to be able to save them. i think they should have saved the save to the last round.
Hate on me all u want, idc, i dont think they should of saved Matt. He wasn't even that good and I agree that the person with the lowest amount of votes should be the one to go home thats the way it has always been and thats the way it should still be. It's all Kara DioGaurdi's faut to me and when they sing they had to judge in teams which defeats the whole purpose of the show being judged by the gangster dude (randy) crazy lady (paula) and mr. mean (simon cowell) and what is Kara the annoying lady who thinks shes all that and shes not! Shes ruining the show with the whole stupid top 36 where no one even got a chance, this stupid save which shouldn't have been used it should be used next week because 2 people have to then go home next week most likley Anoop and Matt and it's stupid DISCO WEEK. The only reason they used the save on him was because of Paula and Kara but hey thats Paulas thing the kind one and thats why they had only 3 judges so Randy and Simon had the majorady which was usually the right choice. I think Lil should have been eliminated but that wasn't the judges doing. Saving Matt was the right thing to do because it'll give him one week to amp it up! Lil doesn't seem to get it that she needs to belt it out more. She already seems like a little diva sassin' back to the judges. That gets you nowhere. being more humble like Adam, Allison and the others and just say 'Thank you' and nod yes in agreement, even if you don't agree. Sassin' to the judges the way she did just dropped her down in my opiniion. I see Adam and Allison being the last two but Adam is the FAV so he will win it all!
I don`t think Matt should`ve been saved because he`s good, but not amazing compared to people like allison, danny, and adam.

you know...im glad they used the save for matt. he's so funny and he sings pretty good when he actually chooses the right song! wish they had the save last year when michael went home...
