For the first time in American Idol history, the "Judges' Save" was used... Matt Giraud received the least number of votes and should have been kicked off, but instead, the judges decided that he'd get to stay and have another week to prove himself.

The other contestants in the bottom three were Lil Rounds and Anoop Desai.
