Rob will take a break from playing Edward Cullen to star in Remember Me, a new romantic flick where he plays the leading love interest - a part we all know he's perfect for! No one has been named as his costar yet, but J-14 will keep you updated when we find out who the lucky lady is.
And don't worry that Rob won't have time for Eclipse, the actor will definitely return as our favorite vampire! He'll just have a busy schedule for the rest of the year: New Moon will wrap up in Italy in May, then Rob will come to New York to film Remember Me, and in August he'll be back working on the third Twilight movie!
This weekend, J-14 saw a screening of Rob's indie flick How to Be at the Tribeca Film Festival and loved him as a moody musician. When asked why he cast Rob in the role, director Oliver Irving joked that he was just, "sooo dreamy," and then admitted that Rob was the best who auditioned because of his acting and musical abilities. In May, Rob will also be portraying artist Salvador Dali in Little Ashes, another dramatic role totally different than his character Edward.
Are you guys excited to see Rob in a flick that's not fantasy? Or will he always be Edward (or Cedric!) to you?

I am glad that Rob is becoming such a good actor. It seems like he really puts in the effort and time to get into character. Any movie he is in I am excited to see. Because so far all of the movies he has been in hit the top of the charts. Keep it up Rob!

I think people will remember him mostly as Edward. I mean Twilight got really big and Edward did to so he will def be remembered as Edward at least. Plus i dont get the big appeal to Taylor Lautner. I mean is just a Robert wanna-be. He will never be as big as Rob. That is why i think Twilight,Eclipse, and part of Breaking Dawn will be alot better. EDWARD WILL BE THERE AND JACOB WONT! Cedric is being forgotton as the seiries goes on and he shouldnt be because that would mean Rob could go and film a flashback for HP7part 1 and 2! Robert Pattinson isn't really the best actor ever..living or dead. I think people are just liking him because he's well..Edward Cullen. If anyone would be playing Edward, they'd get a lot of attention for it. Sure, he's a good actor but he isnt ALL THAT. This is my oppinion. I don't care if he's 'overplaying' or not. Twilight is a strong story with a strong cast. I'm sure they would understand even if he wasn't there.

umm i just wanted to say taylor or jacob whatever you wanna call him will be there till the end of breaking dawn so you better get used to him he plays important parts in the rest of the books so most likely the movies too and they all act great and made a fantastic movie but the books are always better but u have to not be so superficial and have an imagination to picture the story your reading and i imagine none of you are too good at that
