Chris Weitz is still in the midst of directing The Twilight Saga: New Moon in Vancouver right now -- but the director for the third movie in the series, Eclipse, has already been announced.
Horror movie director, David Slade, who also directed 30 Days of Night, will be the director of Eclipse. The movie hits theaters in summer 2010.
Each Twilight film has had a different director. The first film was directed by Thirteen's Catherine Hardwicke.

I think he'll be great, 30 Days of Night was really scary. He definately has the vampire thing down.
The only thing i'm concerned about is the romance in it. :/ im wondering if he's experienced at all in that area.

I just hope they are pg-13 because that's all my mom will let me see and that's messed up right.

I was just reading some of the coments and this one person said that they were laughing during 30 days of night. but i was covering my eyes and screaming. that was soooo scary. i hate scary movies. and there was this one part that a vampire smashed into the humans window and took the girl. that was scary and the girl turned into a vampire. i mean its differnt with bell turning into one. but some parts in the book make no sence cuz well... y does edward treat carlisle like a dad when he is really old. i wish i could ask stephenie meyer that and also ask her if she is makeing breaking dawn. and people say that robert smeels. my mom said that was funny and iam like so. thats ok. my mom read that on people.com. i could really care less about that. but i wish i could ask the cast some questions. and it wont be long. haha. ok it will. haha

Problem guys! They might not make Breaking dawn into a movie because of the steamy scenes and if it is made into a movie it will prolly be rated R. Which is fine for me cuz i am allowed to watch it. But maybe not for some of you guys. Stephanie Meyers doesn't think they will be able to make a movie out of it though! I think it is a good thing that they are switching directors! We need change and each of the movies should be different. some should have more action and flare and romance than others! Cant wait!
