New Comedy "Glee" Officially on FOX This Fall

The previews have been all over American Idol all season -- and today Fox officially announced that the new comedy Glee will be on the fall schedule.

The show is about a bunch of high school outcasts in a show choir -- they may start out geeky, awkward, and quirky, but a new teacher in charge (Matthew Morrison from Music and Lyrics) will change all that. Familiar faces include Lea Michele from Spring Awakening and Cory Monteith from MTV's Kaya.

Each episode will also have tons of music in every genre from the past and present -- and it will be released as both singles and soundtracks by Columbia Records. The show previews tomorrow night, May 19, at 9 p.m. after American Idol -- and the cast performances of "Rehab" and "Don't Stop Believin'" will be available on iTunes tomorrow too.
