There has been a lot of negative press surrounding the JoBros lately. Many are saying their star is falling. Here are some of the reason why:
-Their 3D movie was a "dud" -- only making $19 million. Miley's 3D movie made over $60.
-iCarly is beating JONAS in the ratings. (They used to both be on Saturday night at the same time.)
-"Paranoid" hasn't gotten a lot of mainstream radio play.
-Tickets for their World Tour are more expensive than their Burning Up Tour.

TOTALLY Being unfairly judged!! They deserve every bit of glory out there! They have worked extra hard and I think they are doing a FANTASTIC job for spreading themselves so thin! They are doing a million things at once and still coming out amazing.
I think the Jonas Brothers have changed their ways towards the press and that upsets them.
The later "rules" for interviews and forbbiden topics, may cause some members of the media to get upset, because they won't get what they want out of the boys, hence the bad press.
I'm not saying I agree with their current attitude towards the press, but they deserve some space. I say we wait until the album comes out, because it's looking pretty good to me! A LOT more mature...

I do think it is unfiair how they are being judge. I mean they are 16,19,21 so people just think that they are to old for Disney and good guys that are role modles to alot of people. They just need to stop judjeing their TV/Movie it is their 1st time acting. But don't judge their music cause that is what got them started and good at.
I'm completely SICK of the Jonas Brothers! They get sooo much attention they don't deserve! Magazines have forgotten about many other stars and they replace their pages with Jonas stuff! I used to be a pretty big fan of them, I had bought their CDs, I had posters of them on my walls, but now I just can't stand them because of all the attention they get! Come on J-14! Why did you forget Vanessa Hudgens? What about Ashley Tisdale? You've even started neglecting Miley Cyrus as well! There are many other talented stars! Keep writing about the Jobros, but you don't need to put at least one poster of them in every issue!
I know this was kind of odd, so I'll answer the question: The facts you've stated are true. So, I think there's no point in not talking about them. However, I don't think their star is failing, as long as there are way many JoBros fans who love and support them so they they don't really have to worry. Maybe there will be more popular bands than them in the future, but they'll still be pretty popular.

In case some people have not noticed, they work hard for what they have. On their Official fan Club, there is over 42,000 people, which means, over 42,000 supports them. Theres A LOT MORE FANS outside of Team Jonas who don't have afford to it, or just don't want to join.
Anyways, there can't be competition between iCarly and JONAS, cause iCarly has been up for years, Jonas started last month. About that 3D movie, Jonas Brothers has older fans than Miley do, so little kids went to see the movie with their parents. Older fans don't need parents to go to see it. That's why i think it sold better, cause little kids had their parents with them.
Tickets for World Tour are more expensive cause haven't anyone seen the stage! And there's so much information how they have on-of-an-kind water screens etc. And they have 2 opening acts.
Jo Bros are one of an kind band. You would never ever imagine how good heart people they are. They work hard for what they get, they won't let fans down, they keep their feet on the ground, they have amazingly good family around them, and they are just them selfs and won't pretend to be someone they're not!
They have the most amazing fans in the world, we support them as much as we can. It doesn't matter if their song isn't number 1 on the charts, it won't change our support for them. We don't love them because their songs are #1 on iTunes or wherever else, We support them, cause we love them as them. They are humans, and we love them cause of who they are.
Personally I'm glad their fame is toning down a bit, I loved it back in 2005 and all when they could really connect with their fans and their fans were actually their age, now it's all little kids, it's sorta annoying.
I loved the 3D movie...it was amazing; JONAS is one of the best Disney Channel show's ever...I love it! =) Of course tickets for their World Tour are going to be more expensive....it's a WORLD TOUR!!! Most likely Paranoid will be playing on radios after the CD is released. Plus there is one solution to get Paranoid on the radio...ALL the fans call into their radio stations & request like crazy to get Paranoid played. To be honest I just started yesterday doing it, but I'm going to keep on doing it until they play it. So who's with me? Are we going to help get Paranoid get played on the radio? I know I am. I love the Jonas Brothers. Who cares if their movie was a so called "dud"...it's the fans that they care about...plus people probably wanted to see them in real life-not in a concert film. Critics need to give them a break. They are probably just picking on them because they are such good role models.

I liked the 3D movie, and so did the fans, so that's all that matters. I watch JONAS more than iCarly, yes, I'm seeing them on tour this summer, and I don't really think the tickets were too much. I mean, sure some were really expensive, but if you haven't noticed, someone always buys some. Besides, a WORLD tour would need more money to function, so of course the tickets cost more than a regular tour. Their true fans always have and always will love them no matter what.

okay i totally think the jonas brothers are being judged unfairly recently.
The 3D movie was amazing (i would know i watched it) and the only reason people didn't come to see it was because they probably already saw them on tour this summer, and $19 million is a lot of money if you ask me.
and you CAN'T compare them to mileys movie partly because the jonas brothers were in it and ppl were drawn in to see them too.
i haven't gotten a chance to watch jonas on tv because i haven't seen it here in canada but i would GLADLY watch JONAS over iCarly.

"im so paranoid"...haha i LOVE that line and that song is just absolutley amazing!!!! i mean, EVERYONE has a song that didnt go number one in its first week. i mean, even miley didnt, taylor didnt. its just some songs arent as popular as others no matter if they came out before the rest of their album. i mean, on their last cd, a little bit longer, probably my favorite song from that is "shelf" and its not that popular, but that doesnt mean its not good. and no, i havent heard paranoid on the radio, but hey, i havent heard any of their other songs on the radio either. the only radio station that would play their songs besides radio disney is if that song was on top 40 countdown or something like that. so, that doesnt mean its not popular. and finally!:
their world tour!!!! alright, well im just going to admit it right now, im not going to see them in concert. i really wanted to and i asked my parents and they said no because 1) im not going alone 2) its pretty far away and concert tix themselves are expensive and 3) none of my other friends like them except for 1 and she already got tix to a different one and she cant go to two. i actually have no idea what their tickets cost and i dont know what they cost for the burnin' up tour. but they probably rised it for very logical reasons like since its a world tour or since they have 2 other acts.

I AM watching iCarly over Jonas because Jonas looks like a dumb show.
I have heard Paranoid on the radio because people keep requesting it. But that song just annoys me cause it sounds horrible. They sound like theyre purposefully straining their voice and the result is not pretty.
I'm not going to their tour. But their tickets probably are ridiculously priced, seeing that most concert-goers are tweens or younger that can't afford it.

I am going to a concert on their World Tour this summer. I don't think the tickets were too expensive. My mom went to the place where the concert will be held and got the tickets so we didn't have to tpay extra for getting them online. I am so excited! It's the first concert I've ever been to so I am SO excited to go see them and possibly meet them. They are my idols. They inspire me to continue playing my music even though sometimes I don't want to. Their music helps me in so many ways. When I am upset about anything I go in my room and listen to their music and it never fails to cheer me up. I love it!
No matter what I will still be a fan and I think the other fans will too. We are here for them through think and thin. WE LOVE YOU KEVIN, JOE, & NICK!!

first off I love Paranoid and it's not getting that much airplay because it hasn't really gotten enough airplay. I bet once the whole album comes out then they'll be playing it like last summer. Ahhhh last summer Burnin Up got them to new heights, they got nominated for a grammy did mention they played Burnin up so many times. For that fans need to start calling in for the Jobros they need more publicity because they don't get enough and for JONAS, I love that show because it is so funny but the topics are relatable to little kids, the problem there losing the little kids, there making that transition into adults, maybe you forgot but 2 of them are already adults. there truly here for the fans, I've noticed some adults like paranoid! that's weird but that's whats going to get them to win a grammmy, imagine somebody still in Disney winning a grammy, that's major. Jonas talks about girls but my nieces they watch Jonas but they only laugh when its funny, everything else, nothing! So what are you going to do. And as for the movie, we all know that Hannah Montana's fan base is mostlty little kids and pre-tweens and mostly pre-tweens because I see kids as young as 3 wearing hannah montana clothing so that's why she makes alot of money. There aren't many Hannah fans in high school compared tho elementary school kids. Don't get me wrong I love icarly but if I had 1:99 in my itunes account and it was between a new icary episode and JONAS I pick JONAS! People will get use to there new look and if the bros ever read this, we will do everything in our power to make JONAS more popular, Paranoid played more, and your new image respected! And for me my top hobbies are Jonas Brothers and Twilight! I guess there not getting reconigition because some other populart things are going on to in the teen world like twilight. Twilight is all over the internet and once that settles they'll be back on top. We love The Jonas Brothers!

OK the movie waz awsome even my friend (who isn't a fan) loved it we ran up and down the isles like crazed fans. i do like icarly, but i watch J.O.N.A.S. when it's onm i sit soo close to the t.v. (prbably why i need thicker glasses) oh well. every time a new episode is on i mark it on my CAMP ROCK calender! there are a lot of obsessed fans out there like me who care soo much about them so even if there is not a 200 or more person line waiting to get a new album of theirs i and all the other dedicated fans would be in that line. and Kim is right it's the fans that matter NOT the criticts!!

after reading that i was about to cry :( the jonas brothers 3D experience was awesome...it was better than awesome...it was..WOW!! and their show is hilarious!!!! and i their world tour is probably more expensive because they said "we are planning to be closer to you this year during our tour" so whatever that means they are most probably spending loads of money on this tour

I'm so sick of them. Done. Where did they even come from? Their song, S.O.S. was what made them. It's not even a great song! I have a friend who used to RAVE over them, now she's annoyed with them too. Not to mention their scarves, tight jeans, and ugly hair. Sorry Kevin, you killed your do... I'm so done with them, I think this magazine should maybe put in a little more Rob Pattinson and a little less Jonas. Not to sound mean or anything!! I love this magazine! I never watched Jonas once. I love JONAS and the jonas brothers I haven't stopped watching it over ICarly I just watch ICarly on Nick2 which airs like 3 hours later I personally think that their charging a little bit to much for their tour cause in DC for backstage passes it causes nearly $400.00 but I think it'll be great to see them live so im not really pressed over how much the tickets cost but my parents are but they'll end up buying me the tickets I think the press is just mad cause their not getting what they want from them. BTW can't wait to see them here in DC and I also can't wait to see Miley Cyrus 2 but Im not sure when she comes to DC I need to check for her North American Tour 2009.

i have been asking people if they like the jonas brothers at school. about 86%, said that the didn't like the jbros, and about 10%, said that they were ok. This tells me that the jobros were not what they used to be. as for me, I'm part of the 10%.

For the longest time, people have been OBSESSED with them. I like their music, but other than that they are basically another band. But now (finally) the media world isn't revolving around them. The jonas brothers are doing fine. Their 3D movie wasn't a dud. I saw both the hannah montana 3D thing and the jonas brothers 3D movie and both were really good. I wouldn't say that either of them were duds, especially not the jonas brothers one. I watch their show over iCarly. I hate iCarly and i love the jonas brothers, you do the math. I've heard the song paranoid on the radio before. I've heard it on sirius satelite radio channel 1 "the hits". It's a really good song too :D And i'm also going to see their world tour this summer and i saw the burnin up tour last summer as well and the prices did go up but i still think that the jonas brothers are not going anywhere anytime soon. People say they like them because they're newer and sick of Miley, but the Jonas bros wern't popular at all until they went on tour with Miley. They were from 2005 actually. Most fans don't even know they sang the American Dragon theme song. That's how unpopular they were. When I tried giving them a chance and watching JONAS, I'd give the show a 3/10. I was even on Mileyworld today and people were talking about how they hate the Jonas brothers and how stupid the show is. It's also all over youtube. The song Parinoid, never heard it on the radio. Im not paranoid, im just plain ANNOYED by those brothers. Theyre flooding the magazines. People still like the older stars like Miley, Ashley, the HSM ppl. And I have viewed pools people voted for Miley over the jonas brothers! jonas bros got 43% miley got 57%. HA!

I love the Jonas Brothers!!! They are just awesome, no one will ever have the power to change my mind about them! I haven't seen their 3D movie yet, but i have seen clips and i am like 99% sure it's awesome. I attended their Burning Up Tour and it was awesome! Since I have experienced one of their concerts, it was definately worth the price. I personally love both iCarly and JONAS, but I record JONAS so I am guaranteed to never miss it. I record iCarly sometimes too. Both of these shows and the stars of them are awesome and I hope they continue the gr8 work!!!!

I took some time reading all the comments. I been to 1 Jonas Brothers concert and it was at Houstan TX and i loved it. people think that twilght is better then the Jonas Brother. I think that people can make their own choices. Everyone is forcing people to like them and to not like them. I think the Jonas Brothers want people to like them just for who they are and what they represent. And i agree that icarly been around for a long time and J.O.N.A.S just came out a few months ago. Well, the tickets were expensive and I really don't see how lots of girls could see it. The movie wasn't as hot as they made it seem. Even I didn't know it would be a huge concert with little 5 minute clips between. That dissappointed me, but I didn't COMPLETLY hate it. I liked the scenes where they were taking their shirts off and when Joe was on his segway.

Jonas is really funny and the fans love it. Paranoid is different to their usual stuff, but it's great, and yes I've heard it on the radio. My Jonas tickets were only 60Euro, and that's EXTREMELY cheap!! Usually we pay at least 80 for good seats. Plus they're going the whole world round and have you seen the stage?!?! Stop bashing them!!

Ok, JONAS, is one of the funniest Disney shows, since Even Stevens! ICarly is beating them because its relatable! JONAS is just dry comedy, and anyone who doesn't think that those jokes are funny, just may not get them. its there first TV show, so they might need a little help with the acting, but besides that, its a really great show.

I have never been a fan of Jonas Brothers, I mean I like them,but not a fan. I think they are getting TOOOO much attention, and it's getting really annoying. How was their 3D movie a dud? when I saw it, the whole theater was filled with SO MANY people and most of them were older girls without their mothers. Miley has younger fans so their moms had to come along. also, not every Jonas fan got to see it because of the recession. My friend couldn't go because her dad lost his job, and they were saving their money. Yes, tickets were expensive IF you got floor seats. my tickets were $80, and honestly, I don't think its that much. But if ya haven't noticed!......we're in a recession! not everyone could afford tickets. Also, just cause Paranoid hasn't been played on the radio that often, doesn't mean they're 'dying out' and that certainly doesn't make them a bad band. Jonas fans, PLEASE, don't let the JB die out!!! i love them too much! :)

Im just going to start out by saying I love the Jonas Brothers! They are genuinely great guys and they have loyal fans who will stick with them. There movie wasn't a dud, it was just overly priced so a lot of their fans couldn't go. Their t.v. show is really funny but I think that alot of their fans are older and the t.v. show is aimed towards their younger fans. But iCarly has an older and younger audience. Yes their tickets are a little spendy but not that much, not if you really want to go. The Jonas Brothers are doing fine! They're awesome!

I used to be a really big fan of the Jonas Brothers, but a lot of stuff happened and now I'm not a fan anymore. Personally, I didn't see the movie, I don't like Paranoid (and I've not heard it played anywhere besides Radio Disney), I don't like Jonas OR iCarly, and I'm not seeing them on tour.
I don't exactly think they're being "unfairly judged." People have to remember that it is the media's job to do things like this. Just because they are your favorite band, that doesn't mean they're an exception to the rule. Everyone will get some negative press at some point. However, I think that they are possibly being too harshly judged to a degree. They're young, and they're not perfect. I think they've sort of been put up on a pedestal, and it's not entirely their fault--it's mostly the media's fault for promoting them so much and in a way that makes them seem "perfect." If they hadn't been marketed this way, maybe there would be no problem here. But people expect the Jonas Brothers to do it all, and they just can't. NOBODY can. That's just the way it is, and some people don't understand that.
Ok... I am a HUGE Jonas Brothers fan, but first off the Hannah 3D mobie had Hannah and Miley There alot of younger girls and boys that love Hannah just watch the movie when they ask about thier favorite Hannah song is? I watch JONAS and I love it probably all the fans do. There is other shows on tv too that people watch and they fans may love other tv shows too, like me I love Sonny With A Chance too. About Paraniod, I hear a dencent amount of times on my local station and I hear it being requested too. When the song first came out It was #2 on the top 5. The reason the concert tickets are so expensive is because they can sell out a venue in minutes. I wanted to go to the Atlanta show but most of what was there was single seats, they were mostly sold out in Atlanta. The tickets are so expensive is because they are popular. The tickets for the Best Of Both Worlds tour were probably expensive too.

As much as people talk, unless you start of in the industry on your own you can never really make it big. When a star goes on Disney it is very hard for them to transition from kiddie to adult because people will always have you tag from that. As sad as it sounds. Take a look around you have very few groups that last long or have a longevity career in this industry without their being problems. I believe they will be breaking apart soon. Look at their ages Kevin will be turning 22 soon Joe 20 and nick 17 their ages are to far apart and you can't expect them to appeal to young girls for every it'll just be weird like in a pedophile way. Like when miley was dating that dude who was 20 everyone was complaining about it. But look at the Jonas brothers it's the same thing who would really want their 6- 14 year old girls being sang to by adult men and that is what they are for all that fail to notice it. So they will have to sell out themselves to transition to the adult world and sing more adult songs about sex,love etc. Then it will become a big problem because nick will still be underage and then they will get bash for that. I really think it's wrong that people are saying the Jonas star is falling. I just love how people emphasize on the negative aspects and not on the positive ones!!! I loved the 3-D movie, and I thought it was one of the best movies I've ever seen. Even though it was $15 for a ticket, I thought it was worth it. I mean you get to see a concert up close and personal. For a lot of people it was their first concert (just explored in theaters) for others, it was re living one of the best nights of their life. Not just because JONAS in a better show, but because they are good role models, and if Hollywood had more people like the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez. There wouldn't be half the eating disorders, and people thinking they are not good enough for the Hollywood standers, and for their music each and every song a lest one person can relate to it. Their movie I can't wait to see it, my best friend and I are going to have a movie weekend when it comes out.

Well this year the "World Tour" tickets are more expensive. All of thier other tours were affordable but know with prices being up to $360 for a tickets(vip) is alot for some girls especially me. 1. i disagree. i think that the jonas 3D movie only was called a "dud" and not as many people came because the economy sux! and when miley's came out it (the economy) wasn't that bad so duh she made more money off of it. i had friends enveyous of me because i got to see it. and my family's broker than theirs. i think the jonas brothers' movie was better then miley's.

The Jonas Brothers came to Winnipeg and it was the most amazing concert i've ever went too, i was so close to touching Joe and Kevin's hand , but unfortunatley Nick rarely came to the side that i was on. The tickets were at a fair price they weren't over priced and they weren't cheap either but i think the concert was totally worth it :) I LOVE you guys so much and i always will !!!

haha I'm reading a lot of stupid comments about the Jonas Brothers and they're making me laugh. The Jonas Brothers are not being judged unfairly at all. After reading the article in J-14 I knew I had to come on here and knock some sense in all your heads.
Yes their 3D movie was a dud. Your article states: yeah, it only made 19 million dollars, but it's the second highest grossing concert movie ever! While that may be true, the highest grossing concert movie ever, Hannah Montana: The Best of Both Worlds Concert was number one in its opening weekend making 31 million dollars domestically (just in its opening weekend) while the Jonas Brothers movie made about half that in its entire run worldwide. One comment states that the only reason the Hannah movie made over 60 million dollars was because of the combination of both Jonas Brothers and Hannah fans. In that logic, shouldn't the Jonas Brothers made at least a little more? Or maybe they just don't have as many fans as Miley does.
Some of you may not watch iCarly over JONAS but most of America does. Why did Disney move JONAS to Sunday? Because it was getting hammered in the ratings. Disney's excuse that JONAS wasn't doing well on Saturdays? Not as many people watch tv as much as they do on Friday and Sunday. Many do, Disney, just not on Disney Channel. Besides the fact that it's doing poorly, JONAS is full of cliches, stupid storylines, and bad acting.

I don't really listen to the radio much but I have heard Paranoid on KIIS FM a good amount of times.
I think their tickets are rather expensive. I thought they were supposed to lower their prices because they went up so much for their Burning Up tour. My tickets are in the 200 section and they came out to $90 w/ taxes. That's above the floor level and the first level of the stadium. And I bought my tickets pre-sale, through Team Jonas, right at 10 o'clock and those were the best I got. I was really mad actually but I guess I could look at it as at least I'm going.

I went on a 5 hour road trip to Oklahoma to see family and that song played countless times! They're doing just fine with that song being played!
THE JONAS BROTHERS WORLD TOUR 2009 was the BEST concert I've EVER been to!! We paid $150 (that's including tax) for 2 tickets in the 200's section! AND we didn't even get pre-sale tickets, we got them about a month or 2 AFTER the tickets went on sale to the general public! That place was PACKED with over 80,000 people PLUS the standing room only and the box seating! There was probably about 100,000 people there all together!

Okay, first, I'm SO sick of hearing about the Jonas Brothers. The fans are 8 year old girls that do nothing but sit in front of the TV and let Disney brainwash them. Well, I'm 14 and watch Disney sometimes, but that's beside the point.
They aren't being unfairly judged. My 9 year old sister went to one of their concerts, and said that they suck. She actually hates them. Always has, but didn't want to be arrogant, so she gave them a try. The tickets aren't that badly priced. If you want front row, then they are pretty spendy though.
The 3D movie bombed. It was horrible. I liked Miley's a LOT more. But, then of course I like Miley, Selena, and Demi. Not Kevin, Joe, and Nick.
I am watching iCarly over JONAS. Wait, why is "Jonas" all in capital letters? I don't know. I'm thinking that Disney was trying to make them sound important.
I haven't heard "Paranoid" on the radio. At all. Radio Disney, sure, all the time. But on REAL radio stations, huh-uh.
And based on what I said above, I will NOT be seeing them on their World Tour--which I think is stupid, why would they tour the world? They suck. They're spoiled brats. But, Disney's trying to make them "cool". They're dorky...ha ha. They look like they have pubic hair on top of their head...that's not cool--this summer.

The 3D Concert Experience was amazing!
I even bought it on DVD, and maybe it didn't sell as much as Miley's was because it was $18 to see, but I payed to see it anyways.
JONAS is way better than iCarly.

I am seeing them this Saturday in Pittsburgh, and I only payed $80 for my ticket, and they're pretty good seats.
Personally, I love the Jonas Brothers, and I don't believe they're are fading. People really need to quit dissing on them, because they are great people and role models for all ages! the 3D movie was only out for 2 weeks! JONAS is not showed that much! "Paranoid" is on the top 25 most played playlist on my iPod, and the only reason im not going to their concert is cuz they arent coming to CT, & i cant go out of state. please, lay off the jonas brothers. theyr still awsumm

JONAS is a great show. The only reason iCarly is beating it is because iCarly has been on Nick for a longer period of time and because they feature special guests like David Archuleta and Fred.
Their World Tour was sold out. The tickets were most likely more expensive because HELLO! Look at the stage. I bet it costed a lot of money to build, not including the lighting, and they had to pay their brand new horn section and string section. If you look at where the stage is located you'd realize that this tour actually sold more tickets than the Burning Up Tour.
