J-14 recently chatted with Adam Hicks, who plays skateboarding star Luther in the new Disney XD show Zeke and Luther premiering June 15 at 8:30PM ET/PT! Read on to see what he had to say about the show, his crazy character Luther, and how many fans have invited him to their proms!
J-14: Did you do a lot of skateboarding before the show?
Adam: Actually, I had gone through a phase when I was younger when I wanted to become a professional skateboarder. I was in that phase for about six years, but by the time the audition came I was kind of over it. I was like, that's never going to happen. But then I went to the auditions and it snapped me right back into the old days!
J-14: So Hutch told us that your character Luther is the funny guy. Are you like that in real life?
Adam: I think everybody has a little bit of Luther in them. He is a 15-year-old, zany, outrageous kid and he lives in those odd moments, the kind of moments you don't need to be in. That's how I made up Luther, from looking at other people and my personal experiences.
J-14: Are you excited to be on the new Disney XD? Your show hasn't even premiered and you already have a ton of fans blogging about it!
Adam: Yeah, they have the old Even Stevens on Disney XD, and all types of cool things. I'm just waiting for my show to drop! Everyone's excited -- people are asking are me to prom!
J-14: Whoa! How many prom invites?
Adam: I've gotten like, three or four -- from strangers!
J-14: Did you say yes to any of them?
Adam: Usually I'm extra extra busy so...
J-14: What does that mean when you say that, are you really busy or are you just blowing them off?
Adam: Well, it can be different at times, but these last six months I have been sooo busy, it's like, every single day something, you know? But I keep working and I love it.
J-14: What do you usually look for in a girl?
Adam: They have to be nice and just know how to chill, relax, and not take things so seriously.

I havnt really been interested in Disney XD. I'm not really excited about the new show but ill probaly watch it. If I could ask any celebrity to prom it would be Nick Jonas or Taylor Lautner. They are so cute!

I am interested in Diseny XD,and i am very excited about the new show and think thats cool and i also at 16 years old like to do skateboard tricks,bxm bike tricks,rollerblade tricks and motor cross tricks. so i think zeke and luther on diseny xd is cool. I was on the x games at 11 years old i was the youngest one there,that was 5 years old,then i went again on x games at age 13 also i was in 1st place both times.

I LOVE you Adam!!!!!!! I would ask you to prom, but I'm only 12. :( You are very cute and I don't care what anyone says about that. And I like guys that like to act. Yes, Shannon, Taylor Lautner is very cute. But not as cute as Adam Hicks. I mean not as HOT!!!!!! as Adam. Who ever thinks Hutch is hot, you thought wrong! It's Adam!!!!!!!!! And I am really excited about the new show Zeke and Luther!!!!!!! It is AWESOME!!!!!!!!! Adam is really funny. He's halarious. I think Zeke is well more thought out to be serious. Keep ROCKIN' guys!!!!!!
I saw like one show of it, then for some reason I stopped watching the new shows and I'm not really into it anymore. I just kinda lost interest I guess.

I did think Adam Hicks was cute, until I read this. Even if your busy all the time, prom is normally at night and only for one night. Adam Hicks could have been more nice and made up a better excuse. He still has a cute face but not a cute attitude.
i think joe jonas is the cutest out of all the jonas brothers and i think he is so cute i would want to date him but im only 12
