This just in! Disney just renewed Demi Lovato's show, Sonny With a Chance for a second season! The show will start taping once Demi, who's currently on vacay in the Bahamas, finishes her summer tour with David Archuleta.
In other Disney Channel news, despite rumors that the current season of Hannah Montana would be the last -- it's not! Disney just ordered a fourth season! Miley must be thrilled -- check out what she wrote on her Twitter today just before the big announcement:

I'm more of a Demi Lovato fan. But I love the Hannah Montana show WAY more. Its just funnier. Plue Oliver always cracks me up when he has to correct himself he does it really loud and always as the same face when he does it. It makes me laugh. Okay, I'm eighteen years old and I am a professional actress so I have some idea of what I'm talking about. As far as the shows are concerned, they BOTH has their pros and cons, so ladies please stop fighting over which girl is better. They are both two different people.
Now as for the shows, Hannah Montana has a great story. A normal everyday girl and a pop star, and it's a great set up for many episodes (As we have seen for the past three seasons). I personally don't like Miley, but this cometic show is right down her alley because she is very good with sarcasm and it just flows so easily. However, I don't think she'll amount to much acting-wise after Hannah.
As for Demi...the moment I saw Camp Rock, I knew this chick was talented. She is so fresh and so oringinal AND her singing voice is awesome! She is a personality I haven't seen in awhile. She's not afriad of who she is, which is more than we can say for Miley. I do think she is a bit of an overactor on Sonny with a Chance but it works for her character and for the type of show it is. I also feel that her and Sterling Knight (Chad) have much better chemistry than Miley and her co-stars. The downfall of this show is whether or not they can keep having good ideas for episodes.
So my vote is Sonny!
