I don't think it's a big deal. It looks nice, even though you can barely see it. There's nothing wrong with it; She's just doing what most teenagers at this age are doing. I got my stomach pierced for my 15th birthday so I think its okay for Miley to get this one extra piercing. I could see if she like got an eyebrow ring and tongue ring too, but just a nose ring isn't that big of a deal. Most kids at her age have like five in their face alone. My parents let me get my stomach pierced on the condition that I can't get anymore on my face or anywhere else unless I'm 18 (I turn 16 on July 25), and not living in their house. Miley Cyrus Gets Her Nose Pierced?

Miley has been super busy in Georgia! Down in Savannah to film the flick, The Last Song, Miley went jet skiing with Nick off of Tybee Island on Tuesday, and yesterday, she showed off her new nose piercing on her Twitter page -- though that wasn't exactly on purpose.

"I didn't Tweet about it, no," Miley explains. "I wasn't ready to get slammed for it yet. But I'll let people think of it as they will. I hope no one's upset at me for doing it, because I think it's kind of lame for that to be such a big deal because it's like anything else -- it's just temporary. You can take it out."

Miley isn't the only pop singer with a nose ring -- Jordin Sparks has one, as does Miley's Idol hero! "I'm a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, so i loved when she had her nose pierced," Miley says.

They may have jet skiied together, but Nick didn't join Miley for the body jewelry addition. "He doesn't have a nose piercing!" Miley reveals.

I think that that isnt really a good example for them because they are small(for the 5-9) and I have a bunch of ppl at my school that love her (elementary) they are all in gr. 1 or 2 and I dont think their parents really want them to...
I think Miley made a bad choice but for Jordin and Kelly not many smaller kids like them, like mostly teens do and thats better.

Miley Cyrus Gets Her Nose Pierced?

Miley has been super busy in Georgia! Down in Savannah to film the flick, The Last Song, Miley went jet skiing with Nick off of Tybee Island on Tuesday, and yesterday, she showed off her new nose piercing on her Twitter page -- though that wasn't exactly on purpose.

"I didn't Tweet about it, no," Miley explains. "I wasn't ready to get slammed for it yet. But I'll let people think of it as they will. I hope no one's upset at me for doing it, because I think it's kind of lame for that to be such a big deal because it's like anything else -- it's just temporary. You can take it out."

Miley isn't the only pop singer with a nose ring -- Jordin Sparks has one, as does Miley's Idol hero! "I'm a huge Kelly Clarkson fan, so i loved when she had her nose pierced," Miley says.

They may have jet skiied together, but Nick didn't join Miley for the body jewelry addition. "He doesn't have a nose piercing!" Miley reveals.

I think that that isnt really a good example for them because they are small(for the 5-9) and I have a bunch of ppl at my school that love her (elementary) they are all in gr. 1 or 2 and I dont think their parents really want them to...
I think Miley made a bad choice but for Jordin and Kelly not many smaller kids like them, like mostly teens do and thats better.
Miley def, made a very bad choice in my opinon.

I think it's Miley's life and she can do what she wishes with it. I mean her brother Trace has tattoos and piercings, but do you hear people bag on him for that? Not really, I just hate how sooo many people hate on Miley. I have always thought about getting my nose pierced, and now that Miley did, I might actually get it done (: She is a great role model to me, because she does what she wants, and lives her life to the fullest! Role models are not perfect! They are just normal people who don't let other people change them. That is really the beauty I find in miley, besides her looks, she is just true to herself. We have the freedom to do what we please, and I support Miley for that. I think she looks good with her nose pierced, same with Jordan and Kelly.

Demi once said that she doesn't think role models should have piercings or tattoos. As much as I love Demi, I don't exactly support that statement. I mean the younger audience of Disney is not going to go out and get their body pierced or get tattoos all over them. They will just have an opinion of if it's cool or not. I just think people should get to do what they want with their body, and should not get talked down to for doing it. The end (:

I personally think that she can do whatever she wants....but then also I dont think that it was the right thing to do because she is already getting a bad rap about the choices that shes already making. I feel that she needs to remeber that she's many girls role models and also that isnt a good excample.

Okay ONE: she might have a fan base of kids in the younger grades (1st+2nd) but she has A LOT more people in a fanbase of the ages of 15, etc. A lot of girls get their noses pierced. A lot of girls in the younger grades are afraid of needles, or they think that piercings hurt. Especially if it hurt if they got their ears pierced or something . :P you guys that think it's bad aren't supporting it very well.

I always thought Miley would get her nose pierced,which isnt a bad thing. Miley is a normal teen who wanted her nose pierced. I think it looks good on her and I am sick of peole judging her. There are alot of other teens out there that have their nose pierced....there is nothing wrong with it.

I like nose rings...not Miley Cyrus but it's the current trend. Remember how Britney Spears started the navel piercing trend that has now died out, she may start the nose piercing trend. It's not that bad, it's just a white stud. She's still a rolemodel so she'll get criticism for it but it's her body and her life. I don't encourage her 10 year old fans to get it. She still should have waited till she was in her 20s in case she ends up regretting it. It is a piercing so it's only temporary and she can take it out if she changes her mind. there isn't really much wrong with a nose ring. everyone has ears pierced, and it's the exact same thing really. that same tiny whole in your body. it won't last forever, like every other hole, or scratch, it will go away. i stopped wearing earrings for a year, and the holes went away. what part of having a nose pieced makes her less of a role model? (not saying she's still a good one though).
