Attention, One Tree Hill fans:
Chad's been replaced. That's right - if you're as big an OTH fan as I am, you're both trauamtized and loving the news. OTH will be back next season, but as you already know, without Chad Michael Murray or Hilarie Burton. Guess that ride off into the sunset worked out well for them, eh? I'm still sad because I loved, loved, LOVED Lucas Scott's voice-overs!
But I may be able to get over it because super-hunky Robert Buckley is set to replace Chad. Robert will play Clayton, the wealthy, spoiled agent to NBA-bound Nathan Scott (played by James Lafferty).
I will miss Chad (I mean, seriously, have you looked at that adorable face?), but I'm hoping the storylines stay strong because they've been awesome ever since the gang graduated from Tree Hill High. But here's my question - will they ever make Stephen Colletti or Kate Voegele full time cast members? Not only do I love Kate's tunes, their characters' blossoming love is so fun to watch! The cuteness on the show just makes me happy!

I am soooo obsessed with one tree hill and i don't think it will be the same without Chad playying lucas. . . It will RUIN the whole show. . . Yyou can't just change the actors after 6 seasons of a show. . . As yyou can tell i am reallyy depressed and i am debating whether or not to continue watching one tree hill :(

awww..im SO sad. chad and hilarie are my favorite. i really want to know why they aren't going to be on the show anymore. how are they leaving? are they just to disappear next season or what? one tree hill is definitely going to be different without them. :(

i will definitely miss chad on one tree hill and so will everybody else. He was so cute and did a great job!!! It is awesome that this is a new guy on one tree hill. I think he will do a great job in being Nathan Scotts (James Lafferty's) agent. I love Nathan Scott on the TV show. He is so polite and really sexy. He is one of my favorite actors in the whole world. Hilarie did a great job as peyton as well. There were always problems between peyton and lucas but they always ended up together.

I am literally crushed right now.I've watched every single episode since the beginning religious like at least three times.Lucas and Brooke were like my favorite couple of all time on television but then he decide he wanted Peyton who I hated but I dealt with it because I loved Lucas so I would have to deal with Peyton.Then here comes Lindsay(someone new) who didn't belong with Lucas at all,& I thought to myself I would whether Peyton with him then her any day but I dealt with that too.Suddenly I realized Lucas belonged with Peyton and for the first time I actually liked Peyton,more so because they were gonna have a baby.But then I had to deal with the chance that Peyton might die which I cried like a baby during that episode where she was in a coma in the hospital after giving birth,somehow I knew that if she died this person that I hated so much at first but learned to love that I couldnt watch the show but I dealt with that also like always because this show mattered to me.Everything went great,Peyton lived and Lucas had Peyton and his child which made me happy.Now your telling me that their not even coming back next season but its ok because new faces are good.I'm a true fan and I absolutely adore that show and the characters but this is something I just can't deal with.Don't get me wrong I might pop in sometimes because Brooke is still my # favorite character on there and I love her but I won't be religiously watching it any longer.I forever will always LOVE One Tree Hill and what it was.I might as well stop watching drama series now literally,there's no point anymore.But I must thank the directors, producers, and characters for giving us the best six seasons ever and I hope they know that nothing will ever compare to One Tree Hill...EVER!!!
when I heard this news I couldn't believe it. I'm like you can't have one tree hill without Chad Michael Murry and Hilarie Burton like THEY ARE THE SHOW its so stupid. And all these new characters are starting to confuse me. Now they want to get ride of CMM is stupid. One Tree Hill won't be the same, I know that. But I will watch the new season.
