Move over Blair and Serena -- there's a new Chuck in the city! Or... is there? Bravo's new reality show NYC Prep premiered last night. Replacing the Real Housewives, this show follows a group of New York City prep school students living it up on the Upper East Side. Just like our favorite crew at Constance Billiard and St. Jude's, the NYC Prep kids are all about spending money, wearing fabulous clothing, going out, and... kind of about school.
NYC Prep may not be exactly like Gossip Girl -- but bad boy PC, (pictured below,) definitely seemed familiar. It may just be the blazer, the brooding stare, his way with women, the 'tude, and -- okay, well, a lot of things, but if Prep is anything like the CW show, PC is definitely Mr. Chuck Bass. Wonder who his Blair Waldorf is?

i watched it last night!!! it was sooooo good!!! i can't wate til' next week!!
i liked nyc prep. sure i would rather live their lives minus the drama. the moment i saw p.c. i knew he was chuck. i cant choose between the scripted gossip girl or the unscripted (hopefully) nyc prep. after all, it just started.
horribly wonderful. i only like it because it reminds me that i'm not a snobby brat like all of them are!
Ok I have never been interested in Gossip Girl, but I really love NYC PREP it's so real and well who doesn't love PC!!!!!!!!!!

i didnt even hear about that new show and if i watch it i might like it but probably not as much as gossip girl. but ill give it a g=shot!=]
btw none of the characters are nearly as pretty as from gossip girl!

i saw the show but i have to say, that it all just seems so....scripted. i mean all the cast has a distinct personality traite that links them with a gossip girl counterpart.

i mean its one thing to follow a bunch of rich kids around on the upper east side, but to try and make these kids into characters from a show that the network is copying off of in the first place is just un original.
and by the way, why is taylor on the show when she doesnt even go to a prep school in the first place?. i am from westchester county in nyc which is also uber wealthy. actually more wealthier than some of the kids on the show, and i can assure you that none of us teens act like the ones on the show
