Kelly Clarkson and Miley Cyrus have just been announced as two of the headlining female singers on VH1 Divas Live! The concert will air live on Thursday, September 17, at 9/8 central. The last Divas concert aired back in 2004.
British songstresses Leona Lewis and Adele are also joining Miley and Kelly for the concert, and additional "divas" will be announced in the weeks leading up to the show. The very first VH1 Divas concert ever aired in 1998, and tons of singers, including Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, and Faith Hill, have performed. Miley, Kelly, Leona, and Adele are totally joining the ranks of those amazing women! And like the previous concerts, this year's will also be raising money for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.

Miley and Kelly aren't Divas. Theres not much to add to it. But we all have our opinions..I just don't think Miley is the kind of person who would be a 'Diva'. When I think 'Diva' I think...Paris Hilton...and people like her. (But no offense to Paris) Not Miley, or Kelly or anyone like them. They're both amazing role models.

To me, a diva is someone who is spoiled beyond belief. They are someone who thinks they are the best thing ever, they don't care who they hurt and if someone gets in their way, well then that person better watch out, because a diva will go on a rampage to destroy the person, so no, I do not think Miley or Kelly are divas.

A diva is a successful female artist and ALL these lady's qualify. :] But the top diva should be Miley Cyrus. She has 3 albums already, she has one movie out(Hannah Montana: The Movie), she's in the process of filming another movie, she is signed to another movie as well, and she is the most talked about! It's only been a few years! I'm not a HUGE Hannah Montana fan but I can't seem to get rid of her first two albums. (Their fun to dance to.) :]
