J-14 loves the fact that Greek's Amber Stevens is answering all of your fashion questions. She's got some sweet style helpers to back up her tips, like Greek's stylist, Mandy -- she puts outfits together for Amber's character, Ashleigh. "She's really funny and cool and most of the time, my costume for the scene is something Mandy is wearing to work that day!" Amber tells J-14. "She'll coordinate and say, 'Oh I own that, I'll wear that the same day to work so we're matching.' So I basically wear everything she wears." Amber also got to meet fashionista Lauren Conrad from The Hills when LC guest starred alongside Amber and Spencer Grammer in the season two finale.
Since Amber's got so many fashionable people in her life -- and she's quite stylish herself --- Amber was able to give Amanda great advice on changing up her style. Check out her tips below, and look for her next fashion q & a next Friday!
I have the problem of always wearing the same style, but when I try to change it up a little bit, it just makes me feel uncomfortable. I like the preppy style I have, but people always tell me to change it. In some ways, I can't! What do I do?

Hey Amanda -
Stick with the style you love! It can be hard to go outside of your comfort zone, so start small and try new accessories. Add some hair ornaments or wear long necklaces and hoop earrings. Changing the colors of your clothes could help, too, but be sure to tell your friends to buy you new clothes if they want to see you in something else so badly!

yeah i kinda need help 2. everytime i wear jeans i always end up getting skinny jeans cause whenever i buy flare jeans they're too flare-y. is boot-cut better?

Her advice is awesome!! Amanda shouldn't let ppl boss her around about what she wears. It's her choice and no one else's. Starting out small like trying new accessories is great advice also!! And if her friends really want to see her were something different, then they should buy her something. It's Amanda's choice of what she buys and not her friends.
Now, about my style: it's REALLY mixed. I like experiminting with a lot of different styles. You might see me all preppy, then another day you might see me with a punk style. I'm always buying the new top fashions. I can dress VERY fancy, then I get VERY casual. I don't really have one style.

I was wondering i have a really passion for mixing and matching clothes. i wear some to school but other times im not sure, should i go for it and wear the clothes i mix and match to school? im afraid people would make fun of me, should i still go for it?
For people that have help try something that you think is cute but not ur usual style. Also try different Accessories even if the color doesn't really match what your wearing it will spice your look up. It also helps if you pick a color completely different then what you have a lot of. (:

If i were you i would try something similar to your style but yet different at the same time.
For example: If you usually wear solid tank tops then try a fun tank with a cool pattern or design on it. Also get accessories that would go with a couple things that you own. And if you live some where close to a store called Von Maur they have amazing jewelery in the Juniors department and if its on sale you can get really cute things for like 2-6 dollars.

Some stores i like are abercrombie and fitch if on sale you can get REALLY good deals i also like aeropostale they always have sales and you can get something for like $6 that was suppose to be like $25-$30. Also i like American Eagle i honestly just look at there sale rack usually located near the back of the store and you can get really good deals there too! Hollister is ok but kinda expensive. Only wear make-up if you want to wear it don't do it because everyone else is! Just wear what you like and don't listen to ppl when they say 'thats so little kiddish' or 'thats ugly' or w/e else they say as long as U like it thats all that matters.

What style would you recomend for a girl who has hair up to her shoulders ,straight,with bangs,and brunette?
Hair: thick headbands, pony's, bobby pinned in back (half pony use bobby pins instead of pony).
