They got their name from the backs of Gabe's jackets, one said Cobra and the other said Starship so when Gabe formed the band in 2005 thats the name he decided to use and personally i luv it!

this is too funny. i came on here to enter for jobros tickets and i see this video LOL ive known this band for SOOO long. im actually in this video, it was amazing to be in it and was a lot of fun :)

I've ALWAYS loved Cobra Starship. I saw this video less than 15 seconds after it came out (only cuz the computer was being slow)! I have been in love with them since they came out! My friend has all there albums and I go behind my parents back to listen to them. I'm not aloud...but i don't care! THEY ARE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!
OH! BTW! GABE AND VICKY FINALLY KISSED IN IT! LOL! It's amazing! i love them sooooo so so so sooooooo flippini' MUCH!

when he was in the desert a cobra came from out of nowhere and bit him in the f'ing neck! soon the cobra nursed him back to life and told him.
"Gabe soon the human race will die out, and the earth will be inhabited by cobras, and you cant let the humans go out stupidly, you have to start a band named Cobra Starship to teach hipsters not to take themselves so seriously and emo kids not to be cry babies, you have to help the human race go out in style."
