Hey J-14ers!
 
It's Tierney here, one of the J-14 interns and in my last blog, I confessed my (no longer) secret love of country music when country singer Jesse Lee came in. Well, today Jessica Harp from The Wreckers stopped by J-14 and I'm not gonna lie -- I was stoked because I love her song "Boy Like Me"!
 
Jessica rocked a hippie chic look in a tie dye maxi dress and gladiator sandals. Her outfit totally reminded me of Nicole Richie or the Olsens -- she even had a Starbucks drink in her hand! She talked to us all about her new album,  A Woman Needs, which is set to drop later this year, and what it was like working with Ashley Tisdale's boyfriend, music video director Scott Speer!

He directed the video for her catchy first single "Boy Like Me." Jessica dished the video shoot was before Ashley and Scott were dating, so she didn't get a chance to meet her -- but she did say Scott was amazing to work with and even picked out her clothes for the video!
 
Jessica had such a relaxed attitude and awesome personality! She even dished all about working with Michelle Branch (one of her best friends!) and Keith Urban (he plays guitar on one of her songs!), living in Nashville, and she told us some pretty hilarious stories. My personal favorite was when she jumped off the stage in heels and slipped on her butt right in front of the audience! Oops!
