Hi J-14ers!
Erik here, and since fellow So You Think You Can Dance fan Lisa is out of the office today, I'll be blogging about this week's shows.
Last night's elimination show was SYTYCD's 100th episode. I've watched the show since the first season, so it was fun to see past performances shown again.
Dancing to promote the Dizzy Feet Foundation was Katie Holmes. What did you think of her performance? I believe that was her real voice and that she sang well... but it was not as OMG! as Tyce Diorio played it up to be. It wasn't live, wasn't on the SYTYCD stage, was lip-synched, and her dancing was relatively simple to compared to the show's contestants' abilities.
At the end of the show we learned Janette and Jason were voted off. Janette totally shoulda stayed, but her slow salsa solo probably lost her some potential votes. Jason was everyone's cutie, but I think Brandon's a better dancer.

ive just started watching the show and i think its really cool seeing every1s different styles of dancing! good way 4 ppl 2 express themselves!
I love the dance they did it was really sad and touching.
Oh, my, goodness. Melissa and Ade's dance was gorgeous. The flow, passion, and grace in the story they told through dance was simply inspirational. I have never seen something as beautiful on the show. It was just touching.
Ohmigosh!! It was AMAZING!! I don't usually watch it, but I was watching it with my neighbor.
i have been watching the show for 3 years now. i absolutly love this show. i could not belive that jenette and jason got ilininated last night.
YES it made me cry! i mean at first i wsa just speechless but then when nigel almost started crying, that was it for me. Job well done guys.

I think Melissa and Ade's routine was really good. I was really surprised that Janette got eliminated. My fave dancer is Jeanine!
As for Katie Holmes, she was good but not amazing.
I'm really sad that Jason got voted off! But when he comes home here to Fresno, people will celebrate!
OMG! my nana had breast cancer and so it touched me emotionally.I got teary when the judges cried. I really liked Jenette she is a great dancer and Jason was totally kool.
I was sad that Janette got voted off and I'm convinced that her boring slow salsa is what did her in. I mean who dances salsa to Celine Dion??
As for the cancer dance, I am all for raising awareness for the disease and aware of the sadness and pain it has brought many but this routine seemed manipulative and meant to pull at people's emotions. Would Janette and Jason have been voted off if they had danced to this routine??? Nope.

ive been watching the show since is started and nothing has touched me so much. melissa and ade's number made me cry really hard! it was beautiful and because i am a dancer i know how dances can tell so much if you just pay attention to the smaller steps. janine and brandon also did amazing! RAMALAMA is great, especially with Wade doing it with them... im not a fan of jannette so i didn't care she got voted off, but JASON?? i think evan should have been gone and he should have never gotten this far. i cried when they said Jason was going home... :( GO JANINE! :)
I watch this show all the time every since it came on in 2005 or 06. and my favortie this sesson is jeanine. and i was really shocked that janette went home and i cried when aoe and melissa did that routine. GO SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE!!!!!!
i really think all of the dancers did good this year but i really liked when that one girl and boy did that zombie dance fro their last performance that was like the koolest dance i ever saw in my life!!!!!!!:-)

I Loved it I Have been watching The Show for A While now and I Love Katie I really do think that that was Katie Holmes real voice and it was Amazing I did not know that She Sang Too but She is really good at it and She Was Hot !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Omg okay i know this wasnt a dance showed on the 100th episode (Ellen was so funny!) But i really truly loved The mercy peice twitch did last year! With the door?!?! My favorite piece that nite tho was the battlefield piece that brandon and jeanine did. I was soo happy to er on finale week and im sooo scared to find out who wins this yr! My faves Kayla by=ut theres only been 1 yr in the shows history that a girls won!
It was absolutely beautiful. It made me bawl. I'm just so glad that the one choreographers friend is cancer free now!! My favorite was probably "Mad" by Philip and Jeanine!! So good!
