Anyone who has ever heard Demi Lovato belt out a tune would probably agree that she is a spectacularly talented singer. But besides just singing, she is also most admirable for her striking confidence and her determination to never compromise her beliefs despite what others might say.

Last summer while she was touring with the Jonas Brothers, she fell while she was on stage and she wrote on her MySpace blog, "I wasn't lying when I said I'm clumsy! Oh well... made for a good laugh and a couple good jokes backstage!!"

She never takes herself to seriously and if something doesn't go exactly how she had planned, she gets right back up and tries again. In her song "Believe in Me," she reminds us how important it is to always remain positive.

Lesson Learned: Never lose confidence in yourself. Your confidence will be the one thing that can get you through any situation no matter what. Sometimes it can be hard to stay optimistic because often times, things don't always go exactly as you planned. But it's important to never take yourself too seriously and remember that even though you're not perfect, everyone makes mistakes and the one thing that you are perfect at is being yourself!
