When we asked J-14 readers what they wanted to ask The Twilight Saga: New Moon cast members, tons of you commented at j14.com and Tweeted us @j14magazine saying that you don't like Kristen Stewart's "Bella" wig that she has on for the filming of Eclipse. (Kristen just played Joan Jett in The Runaways and had a shorter 'do for that film, so she needed to put on a wig to get her Bella Swan hair back).
So we tracked down a shot of Kristen in the wig shooting the graduation scene in Eclipse... and we want to know... what do you guys think of Bella's wig?

From the pictures that we have seen so far, the wig does not look good. But honestly, in person maybe it looks good. I cannot see Summit and every person involved letting the any of their principle characters go to set looking less than perfect. The fan base behind this movie is huge, and I would hope that Summit would want to do their best with all the money fan's have poured into their pockets, and get Kristen the best wig out there. And I'd bet that's what they did...
But my question is, why didn't Kristen wear a wig for "The Runaways"?

I think that you can tell that it is a wig. But, it looks pretty good for Bella Swan's hair. I mean Bella is supposed to change. Why not change her hair. I think that it looks very good. I also think that it looks better than before. In the movie Twilight it was so plain, I think it matches her face better. Even though it is a wig.

Ran across this website on accident, but I felt the need to make a comment...lol
First of all, I don't believe that most fans of the Twilight series are going too be devastated by the fact that Kristen will sport a wig in this film.
Secondly, a worst case scenario would be that the role was recast with another actress, then it really would have been an obviously blunder.
That being said, I do feel that although the wig is a minor put off on her look, I find it comical that a fairly well budgeted Hollywood movie couldn't have spent some extra dollars her hair. A friend of mine does hair for a living and her is shorter than Kristen's, but she likes to change her hair up and puts in hair extensions or hair pieces when she wants to go long.
I've seen some early pictures of Kristen filming for the next movie and it bothers me because to me the wig looks totally fake! I hope that when they start editing the film during post production, they do some CGI to make it look it more realistic - but I highly doubt it.
I think the studio should have made it a clause in her contract that she not radically change her hair too much, as I'm sure they had taken out an option for further sequels.
Personally I think that Kristen should have opted to wear a wig for The Runaways instead. I'm almost certain that she was already locked in to Eclipse or at least the option was set in place.
Granted, Kristen probably wanted to fully immerse herself into the part playing Joan Jett, but I think she could have rocked a wig for that film.
Oh well it's all said and done, so fans of the Twilight series are going to have to overlook the hair being so wigish.
Hopefully by the time they get to filming the final installment in the series next year, her hair will have grown out enough that all she'll need is some extensions if they want to get her a little more length .
