The Maine's lead singer John O'Callaghan has been spilling his heart every time he performs tracks from the group's latest album, Can't Stop, Won't Stop. Now that John's finally sitting still for a second (although he's already writing new songs for The Maine's next record!), J-14 got the singer to spill his heart and give us some juicy deets about what's on his mind this Valentine's Day!

J-14: What will you be doing this Valentine's Day?
John O' Callaghan
: I will be crying in our apartment with three other guys. We're all going to paint our nails black. And cry. Kidding! We're trying to avoid the red
cliché. I don't really see Valentine's Day as much of a holiday -- you should show love for people every day if you care about them.

J-14: What's your favorite Valentine's Day memory?
John
: Two years ago we were in the studio during Valentine's Day, and my mom sent us cookies from home. That was pretty sweet! It was the first glimpse of home we had in a while.

J-14: What were your fave V-Day cards to give out in school?
John:
I had Power Rangers when I was really young, but I started doing the sport ones with the rollerblades -- that was all pretty sweet!

J-14: If you could play any song to your crush to win her over, what would it be?
John:
The Four Tops' "I Just Can't Help Myself."

J-14: What's your perfect first date?
John
: The ideal first date is one with a group of people so it's not forced, like miniature golf. Then the follow up date can be a little more intimate.

J-14: Do you remember your first kiss?
John:
It was in 4th or 5th grade -- I kissed a girl next door to us. It was pretty epic. She was a year older!
