J-14 is scouting out the hottest bands around... and this week's pick is Never Shout Never!

Here are five things you need to know about Never Shout Never, whose new album, what is love?, is in stores now!

1. Never Shout Never consists of one just one musician, Christofer Drew Ingle, and his band name is spelled with or without spaces depending on his mood. "If I'm happy then it's one word. If i'm sad, it's three words," Christofer says.

2. Christofer hails from Joplin, Missouri, but he brainstormed most of what is love? on the West Coast. "I really pieced it together," he admits. "I didn't know what I was going to do on the record initially. I actually wrote most of the songs in California, and I wanted the album to have a really confused, weird California vibe."

3. Never Shout Never starts the AP Tour on March 19 in Dallas, TX, and wraps up the trek in Cleveland, OH, on May 8. Right after that, he'll head out on the Vans Warped Tour on June 24 in San Diego, CA. Check out official tour dates here.

4. Christofer tries to be as honest as possible on stage and really stay true to himself and his influences."I always try to give a classy 60's vibe in every one of my shows," he tells J-14.

5. The one-man band is a strict vegan. "It was a little difficult to get used to, but now my body feels great!" he says.
