Move over Andy Samberg -- a new comedian is ready to steal the MTV spotlight! Park and Recreation's Aziz Ansari is set to host the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June 6.
"I'm so happy Ronnie from Jersey Shore was unavailable and this exciting opportunity was able to come my way," Aziz jokes.
Aziz is following in the footsteps of past big name hosts like Andy, Ben Stiller, Jimmy Fallon, Mike Myers, Sarah Silverman and Justin Timberlake. The awards show will air live from the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California, and nominees for the golden popcorn awards will be announced shortly.
