He won us over with his rendition of Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" -- but 17-year-old American Idol contestant Aaron Kelly was only able to climb up to fifth place on the reality singing show. The Sonestown, PA, high school student was eliminated Wednesday night.

Aaron had both good and bad weeks leading up to tonight's Idol, but won positive reviews from the judges (except Simon) this week for his performance of Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon." Aaron was the youngest contest left on the show.

J-14 was an early supporter of Aaron's, so we're super sad to see him go... but we have no doubt that he's got a huge music career ahead of him.
