Has Gym Class Heroes' Travie McCoy really gotten over his ex-GF Katy Perry?

The two dated on and off for three years before officially splitting up in April 2009. Shortly after, Katy began dating comedian Russell Brand. After a fast romance, the two became engaged in December 2009. Now Travie has released a new mixtape -- and it's called Forgetting Katy Perry.

"The timelines... she got engaged so quickly after," Travie explains. "I was like, 'Really?' I had to sit back and reassess what was really going on. After you have some time to start thinking about it, you start putting things together. It's been a year and a half. I'm over it."

The title was inspired by Russell's movie Forgetting Sarah Marshall, but Travie says that despite what it may seem, there's no bad blood between him and Katy. In fact, they're not even in touch anymore. "I'm sure she knows [about the project]," Travie says. "The mixtape is not airing out any dirty laundry. If anything, it's me poking fun at myself. If you've seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall, that's my life. I'm that dude."
