Hey J-14ers,
So it's no secret that I'm a huge Every Avenue fan, so I was super psyched to check out the Michigan-based band last week during the New York leg of their headlining tour, the Motel 6 "Rock Yourself To Sleep" Tour.
EA has so much energy on stage, it was contagious. I was jumping around like a crazy person, and I'm totally okay with admitting that. Everyone sang along to their single "Tell Me I'm A Wreck," but my fave part came during the encore when singer Dave Strauchman came out and performed "Between You & I" with just his piano. He worked the song up into a huge chorus that the whole band then joined in on.
This is the third time I've seen EA live, and each time the entire band looks more confident on stage and Dave's vocals seem to get even stronger. They definitely have what it takes to be a headlining band.
