Teen pregnancy is all over TV this year. On The Secret Life of the American Teenager, we watch Amy struggle to balance having a life with having a baby to take care care of. And another character on the show, Adrian, is now going to have a baby too. Likewise, on Glee, Quinn had a baby last season and gave it up for adoption.
It's not just a teen pregnancy boom for fictional TV characters, though. MTV has a reality series dedicated to depicting the lives of real-life pregnant teens on 16 and Pregnant. The first season of the show did so well that it earned itself a spin-off called Teen Mom, which shows real girls dealing with issues like relationship problems, adoption aftermath, custody battles, and more.
