Hey J-14ers,
I was lucky enough to catch up with Vampires Suck star Matt Lanter (who spoofs Twilight's Edward in the movie) at Planet Hollywood to chat about his upcoming movie release on November 30! The 90210 star visited Planet Hollywood to promote his TV show and movie and create impressions of his handprints to be displayed on the walls!
Did you know Matt auditioned for the role of Edward in the real Twilight Saga? He says he didn't get the role because the producers suggested he wasn't "hauntingly beautiful" enough. But he's not bitter! "I guess I got to play the part after all... sort of!" he says.
"I watched Twilight and New Moon a lot," Matt says about how he prepared for the spoof. "We wanted to actually incorporate some the characteristics into our performances so I definitely got my fill. I'm pretty sure I could quote it along with any other 14 year old girl."
