
Last spring, Drake performed at the Juno Awards. Next year, the rapper will be hosting them in his hometown, Toronto.

"I am beyond honored to be hosting this monumental Juno Awards in the greatest city on Earth," Drake says. "I want to bring a youthful energy to the show and encourage people to be excited about what Canadian music has to offer. See you all at the show."
At the 2010 show, Drake performed a duet with Justin Bieber and was nominated for four awards. He won two for Best Rap Recording Artist and Best New Artist. Drake will find out if he'll be a host and a nominee when nominations are announced on February 1.
The 2011 Juno Awards -- the 40th anniversary of the awards show -- will air live on Sunday, March 27, 2011 on CTV.
