Katy Perry will put her acting skills to the test when she appears on an episode of How I Met Your Mother this season.

The show's director confirmed Katy will play the naive and beautiful cousin of Zoey (Jennifer Morrison) and a potential love interest for Ted (Josh Radnor).
This isn't the only acting venture for the "Teenage Dream" singer. She's also lending her voice to the The Smurfs movie as Smurfette.
