Rob Pattinson has ditched his light, messy locks for a shorter red 'do!

The Twilight Saga star showed to last night's Golden Globe Awards with red-tinted locks, and even Rob is surprised by the new hue! "I've been trying to figure it out," he says, laughing. "It's a different color in Twilight than it is in Water for Elephants, so I had to do a rush dye job." He dyed the locks with mousse and joked, "Isn't it amazing?"
Over the weekend, Rob has doing reshoots for Water for Elephants, which explains why he had to change his hair so quickly. The flick hits theaters April 22.
