Emma Watson has a lot on her plate these days -- the 20-year-old actress just announced that she's taking a break from her studies at Brown University to focus on her "professional and acting projects." "Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation," reads a statement from Lancôme. "We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme."
Prior to the Lancôme announcement, Emma wrote on her official website about her break from Brown. "As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything, but recently I've had so much to juggle that being a student and fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible," Emma says. "I will still be working towards my degree... it's just going to take me a semester or two longer than I thought."
Next up, Emma will star opposite Logan Lerman in the big-screen adaptation of the best-selling YA novel The Perks of Being a Wallflower, which starts filming this summer.
