J-14 caught up with Vanessa Hudgens on Thursday night when she made a surprise appearance at a New York City screening of her new movie Beastly (in theaters this weekend)!

Despite reports that Vanessa has been dating her Journey 2: The Mysterious Island costar Josh Hutcherson since breaking up with Zac Efron, when asked if she was single and open to swapping phone numbers with a guy, Vanessa answered, "I'm taking numbers. Definitely taking numbers." She also gave her best fist pump and dished on her favorite way to eat a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
