After months of casting rumors, 20-year-old Jennifer Lawrence has reportedly landed the coveted lead role of Katniss Everdeen in The Hunger Games movie.

Jennifer, who was nominated for an Oscar this year for her role in the indie film Winter's Bone, reportedly beat out actresses like Hailee Steinfeld, Chloe Moretz, Emma Roberts, and Abigail Breslin for the role.
No word yet on who will play leading men Peeta and Gale in the flick, but as J-14 first reported, Alex Pettyfer is a strong contender for the former role. Other candidates for the roles include Josh Hutcherson and Hunter Parrish.
