Tsunami Warning Forced Evacuation of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Set

The devastating 8.9 magnitude earthquake in Japan on Friday caused tsunami warnings to be issued to most countries surrounding the Pacific coast from the United States and Taiwan to Peru and Canada.

With the cast of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn working in Tofino, British Columbia, Canada, on the Pacific coast on Friday, production of the film was delayed to ensure everyone was safe and sound.

Summit Entertainment issued a statement: "Due to the tsunami advisory, filming of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn has been delayed. All cast and crew were evacuated to the movie production's base camp. Everyone is safe and sound."
