While most parents would never dream of hurting their children, stars like Nicki Minaj and Charice have openly talked about growing up with a parent who physically abused them or other family members. Nicki's dad tried to burn down their house while her mom was still inside and Charice's mom and brother had to run away from their dangerous father.
