Wizards triumphed over vampires this weekend -- at least at the box office.
The opening of Harry Potter's final chapter, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Pt. 2, has been shattering movie records left and right. In particular, the film earned $92.1 million domestically on its opening day on Friday, which is $20 million more than The Twilight Saga: New Moon earned on its opening day, which held the previous record with $72.7 million.
UPDATE: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, pt. 2 officially brought in $168.8 million opening weekend, making it the biggest opening weekend in history!
