Tonight, the biggest stars in music and pop culture will come together for the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards. Katy Perry leads the pack with nine award nominations including Video of the Year, with Adele and Kayne West tied in a close second with seven nominations. On top of moonmen being awarded, here are some other things you can expect from the show where anything can happen:
-A Britney Spears tribute starring Selena Gomez, Victoria Justice, Katy Perry, and Nicki Minaj
-Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez sitting next to each other in the audience
-Jennifer Lawrence introducing the first look at The Hunger Games
-Taylor Lautner and Kim Kardashian sitting just seats away from each other
-Lady Gaga opening the show with her song "You and I"
J-14 will be on the black carpet, so keep checking back for all our coverage.
The preshow, hosted by Selena Gomez, kicks off at 8 p.m. and the award show starts at 9 p.m. on MTV.
