Jordan Witzigreuter of The Ready Set sung his way in to your hearts with his electronic-pop debut album I'm Alive, I'm Dreaming and electrified the stage on the Vans Warped Tour all summer. The "Love Like Woe" singer gave J-14 an exclusive scoop all about his latest EP Feel Good Now, which is out now!

J-14: How does the sound for Feel Good Now compare to your past EPs and albums?
Jordan Witzigreuter: It's a little more organic sounding. It's more like straight up pop, not as dance-y or anything like that. It's pretty fun. It's a little bit of everything, which is always a huge thing for me. I always try to make sure the songs are different, make sure everything is as interesting as it can possibly be so I'm excited about it, should be fun, and I'm kind of already on to writing the next album.

J-14: What inspired the album's name Feel Good Now?

Jordan: Pretty much because I think that recently the only way to make sure that things are going to be good, the only way to actually like get positive things and good things in your life and be happy, you are able just to feel good abut things that happen even if it's something bad. You have to try and kind of find the good in it and find the brighter side of things. I don't know, it's just kind of the most blunt positive message you can say. If you want to feel good then make yourself feel good.

J-14: What's your first single "Hollywood Dream" all about?
Jordan: I imagine a lot of people have seen a crazy superstar like a 'Hollywood girl' and everyone kind of has at least maybe some desire to be a part of that sort of world so it's just kind of about longing for that kind of thing. It's a goofy little story. We actually just did the video for it a little while ago. It's an animated thing featuring an animated me which is pretty hilarious. I'm excited about that.
J-14: Who would you love to collaborate with in the future?
Jordan: I would say I want to work with rappers and stuff. That's always a fun thing. I've done a couple of covers of songs like that -- it's an awesome thing for me to do. I actually have a new one coming out fairly soon that I've been working on that'll be announced eventually. I think it'd be cool to do something with like Mac Miller - would be really sick, that new kind of hip-hop. I love the whole vibe of that kind of stuff. I try to be really open with everything. I would love to do stuff with pretty much anyone who would love to do stuff with me. I don't think I'd turn anyone down. I'd be open to work with anybody because I think I feel like what I do can fit in to a lot of things, we can make it work with a lot of different styles.

J-14:You're heading on tour with All Time Low and then headlining with The Summer Set and The Downtown Fiction. What are you most looking forward to for the rest of the year?
Jordan: I'm really excited for the All Time Low tour because I love those guys and it's going to be a blast touring with them but I think as far as headlining stuff goes I'm excited because we get to do all the production stuff. [What] we have planned for the tour is really cool, a lot of cool props and lighting and things like that. It's definitely going to [have a] theme to it which I've never done before so I think that's going to be fun to have a whole vibe like that going on than rather just going to a show to see a show. It's going to be like a slightly more theatrical, which will be really cool. I'm really excited about that. And then I'm excited to have a little time at home during Christmas because Christmas is the most excellent time of the year.
