Mindless Behavior released their debut album #1 Girl on September 20, but before that, they stopped by the J-14 office to hang out and catch up. Princeton, Prodigy, Ray Ray, and Roc Royal confidently walked into the studio and gave us all big hugs before our chat. Here's a snippet of our conversation. J-14: You guys are on the Scream tour. Tell us a little bit about it.
Princeton: We're headlining the Scream tour with a bunch of really talented artists like Diggy Simmons. We're so excited and we just really like being on tour. My favorite part about touring is 100% the fans. Our fans are always there for us.
J-14: Your song "My Girl" is so catchy! What about it is most meaningful for you?
Ray Ray: "My Girl" is a song that we really related to because we text all the time, which is what we say in the song. We're always just on our phones texting.
J-14: How would each of you describe your personalities?
Prodigy: I'm more of the quiet and laidback one.
Princeton: I'm the smart one. I love studying, inside of school and out. I'm a big kid. I like reading J-14 and watching Disney Channel.
Ray Ray: I'm more like the pretty boy of the group.
Roc Royal: I'm tough. I like to give a lot of energy.
J-14: Have you ever had an embarrassing moment in school?
Ray Ray: One time when I was in school, the teacher called on me to answer a question in front of the class and I didn't know what she was talking about because I wasn't paying attention. So when I got up there, I was like, "Um... um..." and the whole class laughed.
Prodigy: I've done that before in class. I've raised my hand for a question she didn't ask.
J-14: What do you when you're not working?
Ray Ray: I like to go outside and play. Sometimes we play tag. I like to read the Twilight books -- I'm a big Twilight fan.
Roc Royal: I like to go outside and do back flips.
Princeton: I like reading books and listening to my iPod and shopping and cooking and watching Disney Channel in my free time.
