J-14 is scouting out the hottest music around... and this week's pick is Megan & Liz!

Here are five things you need to know about Megan & Liz, whose holiday album A Twinning Christmas is out now!

1. YouTube stars and pop-duo, Megan and Liz Mace were surrounded by music growing up in their Michigan home. "Our whole family is very music oriented and growing up it was very normal to be singing around the house," Megan tells J-14. "Our parents were always singing so they always encouraged it and it was always a love that came out from the both of us so we carried it in to today."

2. With a variety of original and cover songs, fraternal twins took over YouTube and even grabbed the attention of Oprah with their video covering Taylor Swift's "White Horse." They even appeared on an episode via webcam where they virtually met one of their idols and musical inspirations, Taylor Swift. "To this day it's still a blur, the whole experience," Megan tells J-14. "It's surreal. It's insane. It was incredible though."

3. Out of all the songs they've written, Liz's favorite song is one not released yet called "Switch Hearts" that they performed while supporting Action Item on The Stronger The Love Tour. Megan's favorite is a track titled "Twelve Months Ago."

4. Megan & Liz's Christmas album A Twinning Christmas was just released much to the sisters' excitement. "We love Christmas. We live for Christmas time. That had always been something that we wanted to do, write a Christmas song," Megan tells J-14. "We wrote two original Christmas songs and it was a blast."

5. The next year is due to be a crazy one for Megan & Liz. On December 2, they'll be performing an acoustic Christmas show for Nashville's 107.5 The River with Hot Chelle Rae, Demi Lovato, Cobra Starship, Plug In Stereo, and more! "We're so excited to be a part of that line-up," Liz tells J-14. "That's our biggest show that we're really excited for." As for an album? "Sometime next year," Megan says.
