Demi Lovato is set to light up the American Idol stage on Thursday, March 15! The singer will perform her new single "Give Your Heart a Break" during the results show, which also features performances by Daughtry and Lana del Rey.
Demi's performance comes in the midst of a controversy in which Idol contestant Jermaine Jones has reportedly been booted off the show for failing to tell producers about his criminal past. "Tough day for the Idol finalists," the show Tweeted on Wednesday. "One of the contestants was disqualified. The finalists were rocked by the news, but are focusing on tonight."
This marks the second time Demi's hit the Idol stage -- she sang "Make a Wave" alongside ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas on the show in March 2010.

The American Idol results show airs Thursday, March 15, at 8 p.m. EST.
