
The Hunger Games is off a stellar start! The highly-anticipated flick, starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, and Liam Hemsworth, has already broken box office records, becoming the highest-grossing midnight opening ever for a non-sequel, raking in $19.75 million. This record also makes The Hunger Games the seventh biggest midnight opening of all time.

Critics are predicting that the flick will make more than $100 million during its opening weekend, which will join Journey 2: The Mysterious Island and Dr. Seuss' The Lorax as one of 2012's highest grossing movies so far.
