Putting an end to rumors of any competition between Justin Bieber and One Direction, the guys proved that they're each other's biggest fans by collaborating in the recording studio on Tuesday night in L.A.! The One Direction boys got to listen to tracks from Justin's upcoming Believe album and also possibly recorded a song together.
A song collaboration has yet to be confirmed, but after the studio session, Niall Horan and Liam Payne both Tweeted their excitement. "In the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night, it's [gonna] sound great!" Niall Tweeted. Liam added, "Got a first listen to Justin Bieber's new album yesterday wowww big songs!!! It's gunna be a smash ... Expect the unexpected :O." And Justin had just as much fun hanging with the 1D boys. "Thanks buddy," he Tweeted back to Liam. "Good chillin with u guys."
Justin's manager, Scooter Braun, recently hinted that Justin would love to work with 1D. "[A collaboration is] very possible," Scooter Tweeted. "He likes them and thinks they are good dudes. All people of that generation should be there to help each other." And after the boys hit the recording studio together this week, Scooter added, "Studio was pop star hangout central tonight."
While there's no word yet on if the collaboration would appear on Justin's Believe, One Direction's next album, or a new side project, Beliebers and Directioners are definitely in for a treat. Stay tuned to J-14.com for all the breaking details!
