J-14 Video: Rachel Crow's Lyric Video for "Mean Girls"

Rachel-Crow-Lyric-Video-Mean-Girls.jpgRachel Crow's new lyric video for her song "Mean Girls" off of her debut EP -- out on June 26 -- is so much more than just the words to the song! This video, directed by Big Time Rush's Carlos Pena, took two full days to make, since it's a stop-motion chalk drawn vid!

"That video took forever," Rachel tells J-14. "But it was honestly the most fun thing ever! [Carlos] brought in this artist named Stash and we set up everything in his kitchen -- and we just did it for two days."

And if you want to know which chalk images to especially be on the lookout for, we asked Rachel if she managed to get any of her drawing abilities showcased in the video. Turns out she did! "Actually I did do a little stick figure in the part where it says, 'It's easier than standing by my side,'" she says. "And then I made the tree in the part where it says, 'Having fun outside.'" So cute!
